Cressi Travelight BCD Bundle with Compact MC9 Regulator, XS Compact Octopus, Digi 2 Digital Console

The MC9 hyper-balanced diaphragm actuated 1st stage regulator has a lightweight body covered by a protective techno-polymerelastomershell. The regulator is equipped with four low pressure and two high pressure ports. Internally the 1st stage is coated with an anti-friction anti-corrosion material that reduces resistance and allows the critical components to move freely. This makes the components perform and last longer between annual servicing and increases performance.

Research on internal air passages and incorporating a special assist chamber has lowered the drop of intermediate pressure upon inhalation and has kept this drop at a minimum, guaranteeing higher performance in any situation. Hyper-balancing allows for an increase of the intermediate pressure at maximum depths and when experiencing low pressure in the Scuba cylinder, offering higher performance at maximum depths and during the ascent phase of the dive.

The all chrome plated marine brass first stage regulator is a balanced diaphragm design which is environmentally sealed. The diaphragm membrane transmits the pressure changes to the internal mechanism eliminating the need for the surrounding water to enter the intricate mechanism. The benefit of this type of first stage design is that none of the internal parts are exposed to contaminants such as salt, sand, chlorine or pool acids. These environmental contaminants cause corrosion and mineral deposits to form on the internal mechanism deteriorating regulator performance.

The Compact Second-Stage housing is made of durable non-corrosive hi-tech polymers and has a dependable downstream demand valve mechanism. The flow of air is channeled to the mouthpiece by injection, creating a venturi effect enhancing the performance. The 2nd stage comes with a flow deviator that acts on the Venturi effect, with dive/pre-dive adjustment function. Large soft purge cover allows easy clearing of 2'nd stage and a comfortable silicone mouthpiece. The Compact MC9 Regulator is lightweight weighing 30.97 oz (878g) with the hose. The Cressi Digi 2 Digital Console automatically activates when connected to your scuba tank and provides a high contrast display of depth indication with a range of 0 to 394' (0 to 120m), tank pressure indicator from 0 to 4,350 psi (0 to 300 bar) and water temperature from 14-degrees F to 122-degrees F (-10-degrees C to +50-degrees C). The digital console also provides residual gas autonomy in minutes, indicates a gas reserve of 725 psi (50 bars), and maximum depth of last dive. Console is powered by a user replaceable CR2450 battery. The gauge will provide 1000 hours and is equipped with a low battery warning indicator. The Cressi Digi 2 Console has a self-diagnostic function which will check all gauge function prior to use for added safety. Gauge console also is equipped with a user replaceable silicone protective shell that provides impact resistance and comes in multiple colors if you wish to match your gear. The Cressi Digi 2 Console comes with a smart box that allows you to change the units of measure from imperial to metric. The Cressi Travelight is a lightweight version of a traditional jacket BCD with all around lift to provide good balance and trim under the water and support while on the surface. The overall weight of the Travelight has been reduced by careful selection of strong but light materials to allow the BCD to be packed down into a very small carry bag that is ideal for travelling.

The BCD bladder uses a durable internally urethane laminated 210-Denier nylon to provide the necessary strength without adversely affecting the weight and light alloys have been used to make the D-rings in place of traditional stainless-steel. This weight and bulk reduction don't mean that the Travelight is unable to support a full integrated weight system with trim pockets. The Cressi Travelight BCD comes with the integrated lock aid quick-release weight system that hold up to 20 lbs (9kg), with 10 lbs (4.5kg) in each pocket, and two additional rear non-releasable trim weight pockets that help increase-stability in the water.

The Travelight is also fitted with more traditional features such as a rear kidney and right shoulder pull dumps, an inflator integrated pull dump on the left shoulder and manual deflation from the inflator assembly. A large zipped pocket can be found on either side of the BCD for convenient storage of accessories.The Travelight's harness system uses traditional "squeeze-style" quick-release buckles and adjustable straps on the shoulders, chest, and waist for precise adjustment -and fit. A hook and loop adjustable waist cummerbund provide extra security and comfort. A flexible padded back pad with twin cylinder cam bands provides good back protection and cylinder security while still allowing the BCD to be quickly folded and packed away. The BCD comes equipped with a 3/8" low-pressure hose and provides from 13.5 to 36 lbs (6.1 to 16.3kg) of lift and weighs 5 to 6.2 lbs (2.3 to 2.8kg).
