This mask is amazing and I would recommend it highly to anyone that has issues with regulator breathing or does not enjoy breathing through the mouth. Obviously, you need to spend a good amount of time with your open water skills (removing mask, using octo, redoning mask, mask flood, etc.), but once you master those skills this mask is irreplaceable and makes scuba much more fun, safe, and enjoyable for me.

I?m typically skeptical of new ideas with respect to gear. This made me a believer. The mask is comfortable and works as advertised. I cut down on air consumption since I breathe in-and-out through my nose. Also, no more stiff jaw after long dives.I wish that it was cheaper, but you get what you pay for with this mask. I highly recommend getting the ambient breathing valve and using with a lightweight regulator. I use it with a Mares Prestige 15x and it works great.

Am an instructor based out of Clearwater, FL and this mask is an amazing option for recreational diving and traveling. If you put defog on it like a normal mask it is an elite option for its price.

True to the FFM family this mask is awesome! I used this during my PADI FFM cert. & it made it a breeze, easy to equalize, clears 100% through 2 stages & it makes diving more beautiful than it already was. Buy it & you won’t regret it.

Great fitting mask, a lot easier to clear and equalize than the other OTS mask, would have got 5 stars but where the reg mounts is a little flemzy even with the support bracket definitely need a 360 swivel on the reg to help that out and would be nice if it came with the surface air valve instead of having to order it separately from OTS. The fact that this mask looks bad ass, performs well and a great field of view definitely makes up for the negatives.

I to had nothing but trouble with a conventional mask, I have a beard and moustache, my first experience with the Spectrum was a dream come true, no leaks at all!! First dive ever without clearing my mask.I can't wait to get back in the water!

The OTS Spectrum is a bargain for those wanting to enjoy the full-face mask experience, as long as they already have a regulator they can use with it. If one doesn't already have a regulator, or can't dedicate one to full-face mask use, there are better options. Overall I was happy with the way mine worked: it fit perfectly, with no leaks and no discomfort. The downside was that it fogged pretty severely; no air washes over the glass as in most other FFMs, so I'll need to be more liberal in my use of defogger next time. Another issue was that during a flooding and clearing drill, the rigid frame that holds the regulator came off on the right side, but everything still worked and I was able to ascend safely and re-seat it without taking everything apart and starting over. This week I'll take a close look at it and see if maybe I didn't have it assembled correctly.

After 16 years of diving I was considering giving it up because I have never had a mask that didn't leak badly or a mouthpiece that was comfortable. Enter the OTS Spectrum. I got the mask on Thursday and went diving Saturday and Sunday. I can honestly say I will never go back to a standard mask/reg. In multiple dives of nearly an hour duration I never once had a leak. Zero, zip, nada. Not only that, but no jaw pain whatsoever. If I had more air I could have stayed comfortably under water longer than an hour no problem. The silicone is nice and thick and the straps are thick and very solid. There are also five mounting points for camera's, lights, whatever. Both equalizing and clearing are easy. And surprisingly, the manual is very good. Tells all about the mask and most importantly, tells you exactly how you should clear the mask. I waited on buying this for a while because I thought $400 bucks was way too much money for a little rubber and glass but do yourself a favor and try one. I think if you tried it you would buy it.
