I've had this pack for about 2 months now and absolutely love it! I've brought it on quite a few day hikes ranging from 12 to 28 miles all with 4,400-6,800 ft of elevation gain, and it has held up beautifully. Although, after ~14 miles or so, my shoulders do start to ache from the pack, but I'm also typically carrying more water (5-6L) and gear on these hikes. No pack is perfect, however, and I do have a few small gripes. (1) I wish there was a soft mesh pocket inside the top of the pack. This would help with organization and accessing smaller items more efficiently. (2) The clip for the hydration pack is very challenging to fasten; it would be much easier if it were a few millimeters longer. (3) I'm also not a fan of the double holed pockets on the side; I think it's pointless. If you want to put your bottle in through the angled slot, it will continuously hit your arm/side. I'm very glad I got the 22L version because it has the perfect amount of space, and if I do decide to do a shorter hike, it compresses easily. I also think this will be a good pack to hit the ski slopes with!

I REALLY WANTED TO LIKE THIS PACK, BUT... LIKES: I love the bucket style opening I just hoped it would have opened a little bit wider. Also, a zippered pocket on the underside of the bucket lid could have been utilized, otherwise it's simply wasted space. It's always a nice feature for a pack to have a phone/sunglasses scratch free pocket. I appreciate a sternum strap rail system over others. I like how even with dual daisy chain rows it still is streamlined enough that it can be utilized in town as well as in the mountains. I like the Airscape open mesh back panel system and don't mind one bit that it's not rigid. My favorite feature is the hydration reservoir has it's own pocket and came with a bladder. The outer water bottle pockets are interesting with the dual openings. They disappear when not used. I specifically chose this pack because it had a simple waist strap which can be removed. DISLIKES: 24 minutes into my walk on day one the shoulder pads cut into me. I had 21 lbs of gear + backpack. The next day I made it to 32min before I couldn't bear anymore. I'm uncertain if that is because I'm a woman using a man's pack. My torso length is 19.5 and most woman's packs don't go that tall. I was a bit disappointed in the shoulder straps. I thought they could have been thicker, more cushion. According to statistics this pack should hold up to 25lbs, but in my opinion 20lbs is pushing it even, possibly 15lbs. This pack is very aesthetically pleasing, but I don't think it's the pack for me. If an upgrade in straps were to happen in the future I will purchase this again.

I like this pack except for one thing. The strap used to hold the water reservoir up is so short that it is very difficult to latch. It aggravates me every time I try to use it. If someone has figured out how to latch it easily, please let me know.

Great bag - nice looking and certainly comfortable. Did a 9 mi pretty strenuous hike with this on, packed to the gills, and hardly noticed it was there. Love the large bucket-style opening. It makes packing and pulling things out easy. The reservoir fits in nicely without compromising the usable space. The somewhat concealed pocket on top is a great feature with thoughtful placement (nice knowing it's a bit hidden when traveling), but I might suggest also adding an internal mesh pocket just inside the lid for easy access to keys, maps or food. No biggie. Wish the waist and sternum strap excess/slack could be secured with some compression loops or rubber bands. Perfect size, and while not a commuter bag for laptops/files etc, this certainly serves more than one purpose.
