Great knife for the money and I love the sheath,no idea why so many complaints about it.I owned two other expensive knives with fancy click in sheaths one lasted 2 weeks before it disapeared out of the sheath on a dive and the other 2 days.Have owned this knife for 4 years with no problems,other than a little rust,but who cares its cheap and still does the job.

I use this to dispatch large fish when freediving. Works very well. It does get a little surface rust even after wahing with fresh water after every dive.

I got it for Spearfishing because is very handy and sharp. As we all agree and still don't understand how a great SpFishing equipment Co like OMER, still makes a sheath like this! To prevent loosing my knife underwater, I got an elastic string, secured from the handle's hole to the sheath. It works fine so don't loose it in your dives. The knife itself is well made and does the job right, it's time to redesign the sheath...The price is right for what you get!

I bought this knife after ignoring the reviews saying the knife is prone to rust and has a bad sheath. They were right! Prior to the first dive I sprayed silicone lubricant on the knife as per the instructions but was unable to wash it in freshwater after the dive as I was camping in a remote location. Next day it all ready had rust spots--after one dive!. The sheath is incredibly poor design. The knife is very loose with only a extremely pliant rubber loop to retain it. It's so pliant I can actually take the blade out of the sheath with the rubber loop on the hilt. I'm sure it's only a matter of time until it's lost. Next time I'll spend a little more.

It is what it should be a nice functional piece of steel with a good handle. Great little spearfishing knife, love it. But the sheath makes no sense whatsoever. great knife for the money, but you better be able to modify the sheath.

I use it in order to kill octapus.It has a very good grip and its blade is sharp.

The knife itself is great. The sheath is terrible. I am not sure why the manufacturer would have made this sheath.

This little knife is very sharp, great cutting knife, back is great for cutting rope on the back side. Saved a $27,000 bay scout boat by cutting the line in time from jetty rocks. I lost this knife because of the sheath. Takes two hands to free it and flops around in the sheath. It has a rubber keeper to go over the handle, its bigger brother, longer version, has a great sheath. Somebody make a great sheath for this knife!

Knife was really sharp and compact, perfect for getting the job done after spear your fish, sheath was useless, no possible way to use it well when diving, you'll have to jury rig it. i almost returned it just because the sheath was so useless, but i liked the knife too much =). would rather get a different knife if i had to choose again. which i probably will have to because its too hard to mount.
