I bought this for January scuba in southern Belize where the water temperatures topped 80? F (even at depth). I get cold easily, so was happy for the wetsuit insulation and protection from jellyfish tentacles. The wetsuit was flexible and effective, and packed down small, but mostly I got it because it came in medium tall, necessary for my body shape (6'2", 165 lbs). It fit well, was a good price, kept me from getting cold, and had nice blue accents. Not sure about durability yet (12 dives on it).

I was looking for a suit to wear during the summer swimming in the Atlantic on the beaches of Ireland. Not wanting something overly bulky, but with enough movement and warmth for the season. I'm 6'4" and 170 lbs. originally I ordered the medium tall but it was just too constricting and the neck felt like two hands strangling me. It was easy to return and substituted for the large tall. What a difference, snug but not constricting, sleeve length and leg length are just right and feels comfortable. Haven't been in the water yet, but not anticipating any issues. Considering the temperature in July/August in Ireland it should be warm enough for the ocean. Definitely would recommend and customer service is easy to deal with in my case.its real well made and having the long cord attached to zipper makes it easy to zip up. Like others, I would recommend putting either a plastic bag or plastic storage bag over your hands and feet while pulling on the suit. It makes it easy.

It took me 3 tries to find the best size M chart-wise, looked to be the right size. BUT I could not get the zipper up without assistance. LARGE zipped easily but it felt too long in the arms and legs and a bit too loose at the chest. LS was just right. I went from O'Neill to Dicks to REI before I got it right.

Have several Oneils wetsuit. I Left my 3/2? behind recently so needed an inexpensive replacement while away. Being 5?7? and very skinny in the legs and wrists, found medium to nearly fit right but not perfect, lose in some spots . Chart size didn?t quite match reality. Although not O?Neil?s fault the store had limited sizes with my normal size not quite as snug as I would like, I just tried on whatever size seemed right when held up to my body. Ended up with size 19? I don?t know if that?s children or women?s? But it fit nice on legs, ankles , wrists and hight, but very tight across shoulders, upper arms and neck. I bought it, but I was very restricted in it and tired easily because it wasn?t as stretchy and flexible as I was hoping with a newer suit. I got a little cold and shivers after about an hour, (normally last longer) probably part to do with being a little-restrictive and I lost heat through energy loss, (because the water was 20c (70f) )which isn?t too cold., so it could?ve been partly I got the wrong size, or it?s partly that it?s flat stitched but not sealed and leaks minimal along stitching areas, or both,I?m not sure. I normally like Oneil?s for price and fit, but when shopping by labels for sizes, perhaps they could make clearer labeling sizes with and make more in between sizes like other companies. But overall I still recommend.

I've worn O'Neill wetsuits for 40 years. I've purchased the last 3 or 4 online without trying them on depending on the perfect fit of the XL size. I'm an athletic, not fat, muscular, middle-aged guy, 6'1" 205 pounds, 34 inch waist. This XL suit is comfortable, easy to get in and out of and warm enough for chilly air and cool water. It would not be suitable for cold conditions, air or water. Most of this suit is nylon on the outside allowing the evaporation cooling effect, not desirable for cold air conditions in wind sports. If I had it to do over, I might spring for a smooth skin suit and I'd try it on first. Back to fit: This suit is looser in the legs than all other XL O'Neill wetsuits I have owned. It will work, but will not go on my "good wetsuits" list.

Got this for triathlon. Fits very well and looks great! Does a great job with temperature regulation and decent buoyancy. The materials do help to a degree, but remember chafing protection for long swims! A suggestion: incorporate a small, secure pocket on the inside. There is already a mini ?flap pocket? where I put a key inside, but some velcro or closure would feel more secure

Use to be 5'8 just short of that now and I am at 180. The fit is just a little snug but the next size up I think would have been just a little to big. Over all "Great" for me! Movement in the shoulders is better than I thought it would be & water was 63-65 and I was just fine.

Wore it out on a wakesurf day with 59 degree water and it wasn?t insanely toasty but not cold either. Super flexible, good materials. For the people who complain about the zipper, I think they are getting too small of suits. I have been a large in everything in my entire life and for some reason I had to go with the xl based on my shoulders. The xl fits great and the zipper didn?t fall because the wetsuit isn?t pulling itself.
