Shopper : What's the spring length of the difference sized straps? I want to add spring straps to my SP Jet Fins but am uncertain of size. I wear a Medium and use 3mm & 6mm (womens 9, mens 7) boots. Should I go with the Medium or Large strap?MICHEL M : I have all three (3) at home. I believe the L is 10 1/2, the XL is 11 3/4 and the XXL is 14 1/2. I had to put the XXL on my OMS Slipstream XL because I was strongling removing them after the dive.
Shopper : Hello I am interested in these heel straps from OMS. What size do I need? I am around 11 1/2 to 12 size shoe. I will be using them on a set of Scuba Pro Jet Fin, size XXL. Also, can I use them with these fins? Thanks,tom.JERALD T : I would probably select the XXL. However it will depend on the type of boot you wear. If you wear a Rock Book and and drysuit XXL. Works fine... love 'em. So, large springs on size 8 boots would seem too be too large.MIGUEL H : Best is to buy the fins first and use them with the rubber straps. Measure the length of the straps when adjusted, then order the springs.JAMES G : I'm not familiar with dry suit boot sizing, but for regular dive boots the large springs would be too much. I wear a 10-11 dive boot, and I use large springs.

Good spring strap

This is a very good spring strap. It has a cable that prevents you from losing it entirely if the spring should break. The one downside in my opinion, and the reason for the 4 stars, is that the rubber gripper on the back is so huge. It made getting the strap on and off my Jet Fins virtually impossible. I just cut the rubber gripper and they work great. Very easy to don/doff now.

Easy to install.

I have a pair of XL OMS fins and I got the XL spring straps. They work well and are trouble free. I don't have to worry about a rubber fin strap or buckle failing during a dive.

Great addition to the OMS fins.

You just can't go wrong with LeisurePro. Had to return first set for a different size, the entire process from ordering/delivery/return and replacement of item was 1 week total. Most other on-line dealers can't even get your order processed in that time frame.

I should have it long time ago

It saves time and efforts having OMS Spring Heel Strap attched to my fins. It elomiates the need to change the broken rubber straps.

Close, but not as good as Halcyon

Not as well made as Halcyon spring heel straps, which have a cord in the springs. Better made than spring heel straps without cord and without rubber pad.
