I love my new reel, perfect size for most of my dives. Has to be good coming from OMS, my favorite brand next to Scubapro!

In the early days of cave diving, reels were not available to buy off the shelf. Divers used anything they could, including empty electrical wire spools. When exploring, divers would pay out the line and if they didn't empty the spool it would be left in the cave for the next dive. Today, finger spools are most often used as a gap reel or for short distance exploration. Small and low profile, a spool fits nicely out of the way in a pocket or clipped off to a D-Ring. The holes in the side allow for clipping in a double-ended snap anywhere along the perimeter of the spool to keep the line tight when not in use.
Light weight durable spools available in multiple sizes. Originally designed for line jumps while cave diving". Divers have quickly discovered this is a light weight solution for traveling divers requiring a reel option" for shooting marking bags. These lightweight ABS plastic spools are pre-packed with nylon line and come equipped with a stainless steel BigGrip double ender clip bolt snap clip. Spools are available with 50', 75' 100' or 150' (15.25 meters, 22.9, 30.5 meters or 45.75 meters) of braided nylon line.
