Just a small tiny amount over 3/4 of an inch. Still sitting at the bottom of my scuba gear box. Good LuckCOREY R : Hi, my mask has 2 retainer clips, one for each side. If you look at the photo they are clips on opposite side of the straps. Check and ensure the other clip isn't in the packaging or contact Leisurepro and ask them.JOSH T : Had the same problem, had to use the ones from the strap that the oceanic replaced. Emmanuel G : so . . . this product would fit a cressi lince mask? are those really universal scuba mask straps?COREY R : I don't know about the Cressi Lince but the straps are universal because they carry their own buckle assembly similar to the straps on a bag to secure it. It in no way affects the assembly on your mask. I've used these on my TUSA powerview, my Diverite frameless and a no name frameless mask I use as a backup.CHRISTOPHER H : I don't know if it will fit your mask. I bought this to replace the one i had on my oceanic mask. The old one, if you can call it that only two months old, never would stay tight. New one is the same way. I have one for myself, and I also bought another for my wife. Very comfortable and better for women. It won't get all tangled in your hair. It is universal, so as long as your mask is not a specialty mask it should be fine. This style of strap does not last too long before it rips in the neoprene. Get the cover that goes over existing straps.

Doesn't use Velco

This strap was used to replace the failed mechanical catches on a Samuari low volume mask. The straps are narrow enough to pass through the posts on the mask, without "being crinkled". This strap is giving new life to a fantastic mask that is no longer sold.

Excellent design, strong & installs easy

This is like the old "slap straps" that were available years ago. The buckle provides quick and solid adjustment without the "stick to everything" velcro. The wide neoprene distributes pressure on your head, and stays in place with less tension than OEM straps. And is more comfortable than a strap "wrapper". Esp good without a hood to not pull longer hair; but even with a hood has benefits that are worth it. This product is a good value. Easy to remove oem strap and replace with this...strapping fits right thru even the tightest mask buckle fittings.
