Great fins at a great price and I would definitely buy again as and if needed!

I have two pair. They are short enough to pack in a carry-on (with all my dive gear so I know it won?t get lost on the way to dive destination) and super easy to get off with one hand. Each kick gives plenty of power and even in a current.

I've had these for 6 years and they are short, and light, perfect for boat diving -- Yes, the pull straps are goofy, but they can be replaced.

5 Stars for low weight, short length and with that the ability to stick it with other diving gear into the carry on backpack. The silicone strap works great, but one needs to watch to not have it inadvertently come off the lugs when pulling the fins off. (my wife managed to loose a fin that way). one star deduction for the fact that when stretching the strap the hole in the strap over the lug also stretches quite a bit. it is manageable, but one needs to take care. The blade really is large enough for maneuvering in tight spaces and for propulsion, but of ours not as powerful as would be with a bigger fin. The light weight does not help with floaty feet in a drysuit, but if that is not an issue or for wetsuit diving, they are great travel fins.

the fins are the perfect combination in between strength and lightness. very light, great for travelling fins. little bit less power than a jet fin. i can for give this when felling how light they are! the most easy on off system that i met!. and really like the possibility of changing the straps colors.!!

These Fins are light, easy to put on and worked well for me. I snorkel and scuba dive and these are perfect for either. As a female, I wish they cam in other colors or came with choice of color straps. Instead you have to pay extra to get colors for straps. Good price too.

The fins is great for a variety of different kicks, however is lacking in power department. Does not perform well in current, but if you can stay out of that, then these are the fins for you. Great for travel as they are very light.

She is not fond of the straps so we put on the regular ones fro her old aeris fins: the posts are exactly the same.

I got these because they will fit in a carry on. Originally intended to be used for snorkeling, but tried them on a dive and they perform as well as any fin I have. I added spring straps. *Sold on them now!! Diving on the Ocean Quest live aboard at The Great Barrier Reef- these are the only fins Deep Sea Divers Den uses on the boat!! Good enough for The Great Barrier Reef=Good enough for me !!

Pretty good fin for the price, but sizing is for use with a thin, soft sole boot. I wear a size 10 and I bought the 10-12 size figuring there would enough latitude to use a medium to heavy duty boot. A medium duty boot was very snug and I had to set the strap at its longest setting. A heavier sole will require the next size up. Used this fin in a quarry and it performed well, Not quite as powerful as my larger fins but that is the trade off for a fin that is 2-3 inches shorter.

These fins are amazing for travel! Short, yet have nice high walls for frog kicks, etc. I used them in Cozumel, and they did great when simming against the current.

I bought these for travel after reading positive reviews. I will admit to being OCD about fins. (Bias disclosure: I am not a fan of long "power" fins.) I like fins that balance flexibility, maneuverability, power, work for frog kick and don't wear out legs during long swims. These fins achieve that balance. As a plus for travel, they are very light. The heel straps are comfortable, quickly adjust and easily replaced. Spring straps can be retrofitted, but I find the provided straps fine for travel to warm water using wetsuit boots.

Bought these to replace my old set of travel fins which were very flexible. These are nice and light, and only 20" long (size small) and fit nicely in even small dive bags for travel. The strap is easy to work (like a spring strap, but no spring) and is adjustable. You should wear these with at least a thick dive sock or thin bootie.

I don't like these at all. Its the strap. The strap is a piece of stretchy plastic and connects between two posts (one on each side of your foot). So you leave one side strapped and just need to secure the other to put them on. Sounds easy. Actually its not. I have done many dives with these and it takes at least 30 seconds per foot to put them on. The stretchy strap is just hard to secure around the other post. If you are shore diving and getting knocked around by the waves, then this is a very frustrating experience and may take a couple minutes to put the damn things on (yes, this happened to me). Currently looking for replacement fins...

Great fins. Love the size ( shorter than many fins) and fit well with boots. Like strap, easy on and off.

Used these as a divemaster in Bali and a scientific diver in California. Love them. I like them because: - super light - compact - rigid (more on this below) They are pretty rigid fins. I have found that though flutter kicking works just fine, I tend to prefer frog kicking with these. In terms of diving performance, the thing I love about them is that they are very responsive in the water. As opposed to more flexible fins that will propel you quickly when you flutter kick but be terrible when you try to back fin to keep your head in the right spot so that you can look down into a coral or measure an urchin, with a flick of your toes you can move a foot back. On top of this, they are really light, small, and durable, which makes them ideal travel fins. Not so much a con, but if you are looking for a fin that will be super powerful going forward, this probably isn't it (I've been fine in a ripping current in Bali though). If your buoyancy is good and you want to have fins that will allow you to make small, precise adjustments in the water, however, this is it.

Great travel fin. I purchased two pairs of these fins for me and my wife to use while diving in Kauai. They are not as large as some other fins and were great as they pack easily yet I didn't notice any less performance due to the smaller size. They are easy to adjust, I did so in the water before descending on our first dive.

Great Fins for Boat diving and travel
By mark i.
I've had these for 6 years and they are short, and light, perfect for boat diving -- Yes, the pull straps are goofy, but they can be replaced.
The Accel Fin, One Fin, Any Ocean! The Accel Fin design chooses power over frills. This compact and responsive fin has clean lines and efficient shape that makes it an excellent all-around fin. The Accel Fins pronounced side rails and center channel direct thrust behind the diver for maximum propulsion. The fins vents at the base of the blade improve water flow down the length of the blade for greater efficiency. With its excellent water flow characteristics, the Accel allows divers to swim efficiently with multiple kicking style's, from scissor to frog to sculling.
The Accel's unique, high-stretch strap design dramatically reduces the bulk and drag of typical open heel fins, all while being effortless to slip on and off. The Accel's foot pocket posts also accept standard quick-release buckle fin strap assemblies. The fins streamlined foot pocket design accommodates a wide range of boot styles. Underneath, the textured sole provides traction on boat decks and other slick surfaces. The highly durable Monoprene synthetic rubber blade material ensures the Accel will last long after it becomes the divers' favorite fin. The Accel Fin is available in multiple sizes.
