BCD includes a right shoulder carabineer adjustable positioning system. BCD has a low profile back pack that makes it easy to fold in half for traveling purposes. Low profile bladder design and made with patented Bioflex material- a living fabric that stretches, flexes and conforms to your body. With a material that can stretch while remaining airtight, Oceanic is able to make a smaller air cell, creating less bulk and drag underwater while achieving high volume of lift when required.

The Biolite comes with torso adjustable shoulder straps and a self-adjusting sternum strap that is equipped with a safety whistle. The streamline, integrated weight system accommodates up to 14 lbs. (6.4 kg) in dual 7 lbs. (3.2 kg) front weight pockets. The quick drop weight release system is easy to load and use. In addition, there are dual 5 lbs. (2.3 kg) tank band non-releasable weight pockets which also add stability when used in the water. BCD uses Oceanic's Power Inflator equipped with a cable activated pull dump and has an additional lower rear pull dump/overpressure relief valve mechanism. The BC provides 32 lbs. to 38 lbs. (14.5 to 17.24 kg) depending on size. BC comes with an owner's manual.

The first stage is also equipped with Dynamic Flow Control (DFC), minimizing intermediate pressure drops and providing stable air flow even in extreme conditions. It comes with four 3/8" LP ports and two 7/16" HP ports for attachment of pressure gauges or air-integrated consoles.

The techno-polymer Mares Dual Second Stage has an oversized silicone purge button for easy use. Featuring patented Vortex Assisted Design (VAD), it allows for sensitive and effortless breathing at all depths. The compact exhaust tee ensures superior hydrodynamic performance and reduced exhalation resistance. The hypoallergenic silicone mouthpiece offers comfort and a secure fit, reducing jaw fatigue during long dives.

The Superflex hose, developed after extensive research, is lightweight, soft, and allows for maximum freedom of movement. The regulator comes with a 31.5" (80cm) Superflex hose, and the total weight is 38.3 oz. (1,085 g) with the hose. The Prestige is a mid-size octopus with a stylish design, strengthened by technology to give steady, natural and effortless breathing. All Mares second stages are a reliable downstream valve design and offer the unique patented Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) system. The air bypass tube conveys air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex with a low-pressure area in the center that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, for very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths.

Furthermore, the compact and ergonomic exhaust tee ensures superior hydrodynamic performance and reduced exhalation resistance. The mouthpiece is made of soft hypoallergenic silicone: limiting jaw fatigue and offering a secure fit even after very long dives. Mares Octopus Prestige incorporates the Fluid Dynamic Deflector, developed after in-depth studies and tests of fluid dynamics, is engineered to receive and properly direct the airflow from the bypass tube to the mouthpiece. Combined with the VAD system it delivers very natural and effortless breathing. Mares developed the Superflex hose after many years of testing and research. The results achieved far surpassed the tests required by EN250. Hose is extremely light weight and exceptionally soft, guaranteeing the maximum freedom of movement and further reducing jaw fatigue. The regulator comes with a high visibility yellow cover and Superflex hose that is a 3/8" threaded high flow hose and is 39.4" (100cm) in length. The regulators total weight is 13.33 oz. (378 g). Regulator is nitrox ready up to 40% oxygen out-of-the-box.
