Iain A : Any idea if this is the same battery kit  as the oceanic atom 3?JOE S : I believe also, the OCi uses the 2450 and the Geo/Atom use the 2430 batteryJOE S : It is not the same battery kit. The battery kit for the OCi is Oceanic p/n 04.6175.37 and the battery kit for the Atom/Geo all models is 04.6175.05. They use a different o-ring and seal up differently.JAMES C : Yes it is

Easy replacement in 5 mins, good for a save a dive kit.

This is the second time I’ve replaced this battery, about once a year, (70-80 dives). I had to youtube how to pop the back cover off. To save you the trouble, there is a small cut out under the adv button where the metal back meets the rest of the watch. A small flat head can fit in there and that’s how you open the back. but the new battery in, lightly lubricate the new O-ring, then tighten down the back in a criss cross pattern, in multiple steps, just like you would putting a tire back on. You really want to make sure its evenly tightened down. One of the new screws wouldn’t fit, so i used an old one. Everything worked fine, went down to 90 feet no problems. :)

OCi, OC1, OCS Battery Kit

My wife and I use the OCi and the OC1 for diving and replace the batteries in a hot swap annually. Battery, o-ring grease and screws what more could you expect from a battery replacement kit.

Worth the Money!

You just set up your equipment for the first dive of your vacation in Saint Somewhere, as you press the activation button on your dive computer it goes through the diagnostic screen and what do you see the "Low Batt" Icon appears. The worst thing that can happen on a tropical vacation has just happen no dive computer. Don't leave on a vacation without a spare battery kit, why ruin a great holiday because of a few dollars in batteries.

If you own an Oceanic OCi or OCS Computer (see SKU: OCNOCIW), you don't want to go diving without this battery kit. The kit includes battery, O-ring, battery hatch screws (4) and silicone lubricant, a must addition to any diver's save-a-dive kit. The Battery is a 3.0-volt CR2450 lithium ion cell. Kit also includes instructions for battery replacement. Battery is sold as a single and can save-a-dive when you need it most.
