It IS very comfortable. I don't know if there would be areas of friction/chafing from repeated movements or if it would effect your ability to stay horizontal in water. I love it though for my needs. Love it!

I love it. I probably could've gotten a size smaller but the extra layer allowed me to dive this weekend in my 5 mil suit with this on top. Water temps were 55-58 degrees.

Excellent stretchy vest (runs small)

Great stretchy, comfortable vest. I have other X-Span products that I love and am delighted to add this vest at a great sale price. I find they run a bit small and I want to sometimes layer over other pieces, so I size up. A 12 or 14 would fit if I was wearing it over just a bathing suit. I got an 18 and could have gotten a 16, but it fits snuggly enough to insulate. (40C bust). Wearing a vest makes the difference in how long I can stay in the pool to exercise before losing core temp. The vest adds at least 10 minutes. When the air and water are cooler, I use a 3.5 Ocean Quest vest I got here, or I put the 2.5 over the 1.5 x-span top (size 14). Online shopping and shipping were excellent as always. I didn't need Customer Service.

Great product, excellent service. I ordered the wrong size (my fault) and they promptly replaced it with another vest of the correct size. It fits snog, which it should and keeps my vital organs, chect. lunhs, etc. warm while swimming.

Review of Neosport 2.5 women's vest

I needed something to keep me warm at my YMCA pool. I take water classes there for my physical condition. There water is very cold for me. I had tried a rash guard and it didn't keep warm. My instructor suggested a wet suit vest I did a lot of research online trying to find which one was appropriete for me. I found Leisure Pro Web site and found it to be very informative. I had never purchased a wet suit. The web site explained and had great pictures of each item. I am a large woman and was able to find a woman's zipped vest for my size. I purchased a size 18 (cup size 42 d). It fit perfectly. The other women in my class was very impressed. I ve had it for about a month and it is holding up great. I would recommend this product to anyone.
