I use these socks under water shoes not only when it is cold but to keep my feet clean as we get in/out of muck many times when portaging. They are easy to slip on/off and dry relatively fast when placed in the sun for a while. The original pair (about 6 years of use) I had have been washed countless times and are still serviceable.

beets walking around barefoot and allows fins to slip on and avoid rubbing ankles raw.

These socks have a grippy bottom that helps to stop nasty spills. They fit well. The are perfect to use under full foot fins to avoid painful blisters. They dry quickly. They travel well. I buy a new set every few years because I like them so much.

I bought these for my dive buddy to use in cold lake Michigan diving under his dive boots. Layers always help with cold so I assume these will keep his feet warmer. Diving is not here yet in Wi. so we'll see how much they help later.

I wear lycra socks to make it easier to get my wetsuit on (it doesn't have ankle zips). The flimsy lycra socks kept getting lost in the rinse bucket, so I thought these Neosport XSpan 1.5mm versions would be more substantial and harder to lose. Plus, the anti-skid soles would give me better traction when walking around a wet deck after taking my booties off. They work fine, but you have to adjust them perfectly on your foot, then carefully put your boot on so they don't bunch up and cause blisters. Worse, the anti-skid material is wearing off the soles after just a couple of uses.

Makes getting into a wet suit a breeze....easy on and easy off. Also helps protect against formation of blisters if used on open foot fins.

Overall a good sock for use with freediving fins. I've bought 3 pair to date.

I was looking for a bit of insulation for my feet when wearing water shoes for kayaking in cool weather and cool water. Not too thick, just right. Well made, comfortable, fit is true to size.

These are exactly what I'd been looking for to wear with my footpocket fins. My feet get cold but I love the lighter weight of fins NOT requiring full boots. I actually ordered 2 pair in 2 different sizes. I'll wear the smaller ones in warmer water. But my first use was in cooler, 72-degree springs, and they were just what I needed to be comfy.

it helps but of course fill up with water maybe a bit too big...

traction spots on sole wear quickly but that does not appear to affect function or overall product durability. Appears to run a little small.

These might be ok if you buy fins that are big enough for them. Their seams and sewing inside results in a very uncomfortable fit. But maybe that's because my fins (full-foot) are already a close fit.... I can wear plain lycra socks but not these. I don't know where/how you'd wear them. I'll be bringing them back to the store for refund.

There's no better way to enter the water than with NeoSports XSPAN. Wrap yourself in pure comfort and performance. The exclusive XSPAN material is ultra-soft and comfortable to wear, that's why NeoSports uses 100% 1.5mm XSPAN with 250% 4-way super-stretch foam neoprene rubber in the construction of this great sock. All seams are flat-lock stitched for strength and durability. The flat-lock seam design creates a smooth interior and exterior for added comfort and durability. The flat-lock stitched seams feature mean when you remove the socks you won't look like the B&O Railroad runs up and down your feet and legs at the end of your dive.
The 1.5mm Socks have a reinforced screened bottom to help provide long life to a traditional high wear area. If your feet get cold when wearing a thicker boot, try using the XSPAN 1.5mm Sock inside your cold-water boot. The layering will provide additional warmth and as a bonus will make donning and doffing your thicker boots a breeze. The socks are available in multiple sizes, and are black in color.
