I'm pleased with the board. Gotta say however, part of the reason I wanted a lighter board was to access mountain lakes, which takes some hiking... I'm not impressed with the pack. It's less robust than other SUP packs I have with less shoulder padding, no waist strap and has a strap buckle that won't hold at all. (It slips immediately and will not ratchet down at all.) I know that the backpack biz is not what you're about, but it could be improved pretty easily and should be.

I've had my X-Lite 108 out on the water for 2 days and love it. It's very light and easy to carry. (My previous SUP was about 10 pounds heavier.) The 108 is responsive and stable, even when inflated to only 12 pounds. My only regret is that the pump does not have a 2-way option for deflating the board. I'd recommend this board!

This board is exactly what I was looking for at a competitive price. It's light as a feather but nice and stiff when inflated to 16 or 17 pounds (I inflate to a few pounds below max for expansion in the sun). It's surprisingly fast on flat water and both nimble and stable on moving water up to class I+/II- (so far). I expect it will perform just fine at II+/III- as my skills develop as it has a nice amount of rocker. I was considering forking over the extra cash to upgrade to the Judko, but I'm really glad I went with the X-Lite as it does everything I need it to. It doesn't have enough D-rings to be a true touring/expedition board, but that's not what I wanted it for, so I appreciate leaving off the "extras" to make it as light as possible. I can easily load and unload it atop my SUV with one hand.
