The old style tubes are awesome!

I have an older model, maybe 20 years old, and a newer model. The older tube is amazing and bulletproof, not to mention that the valve alignment is perfect. I would buy another in a heartbeat! 5 stars always! I bought the newer tube for my girlfriend. She really didn't like it. First, the valve alignment is impossible. I've been fighting with it for several years and it is impossible to align correctly, rendering it impossible to pressure up to where it needs to be. The other problem is that the vinyl lower half traps water due to the tube not being fully inflated. This makes it necessary to drain it every time you come out of the water, a real pain? The vinyl is a good concept, but I've thrashed my older tube and have not needed a vinyl liner. NRS should put the older tube design back into production.
