Had fun at the cottage, children adults and dogs stayed on. Also used as a play/dive platform. In practice 15 pounds is all I can get with the pump. Seems slower than my friends boards going up river

This is my first SUP. Knowing it isn't possible,I wanted a board that could do it all...the Thrive 11' comes close. It's combination of length, width and depth make it high-floating and extremely stable (the trade-off here is the increased time to inflate.) I chose the 11' version for its carrying capacity, more than enough for my 200 lbs and any gear for fishing or river running. The included 3 sizes of fins are a great feature. I've used the long ones on flat water (high level of stability and tracking.) I use the short fins on the sometimes shallow river. The Included carry bag and pump w/ pressure gauge make this a great combo.

works as advertised. the NRS videos help with some basic tips. pumping it up is a good warm up routine, its fine not that bad. when i first tried it i under inflated it and was kind of a pig, but dropped a couple of psi in it and was as good as some glass boards. quality looks good so far ( I will update after some more use) I wish i had the whole group of them to try.

We took this board across the planet on vacation. It surfed waist high swells at the beach, it ran class 2-3 whitewater and floated us around in the calm Indian Ocean. Having this board with us was the best choice made on this vacation. It travels very well, can get a bit heavy if you put too may clothes in the bag too!

The NRS Thrive series disproves the theory that no single SUP board can do several things well. Depending on the boards length it's the perfect all-around shape for paddlers looking to mix it up with touring, fitness paddling, flat water, down river, light river running and yoga. Inflates up to a rock-hard 20 psi (1.4 bars) for performance that rivals a hard board, then folds up compactly when deflated for easy transport and storage. The Thrive SUP features NRS's proprietary Axis Technology. Axis, an acrylic stiffening agent integrated in the deck, improves stiffness and performance, without adding weight or making the board harder to roll up. Removable, interchangeable fins let you customize your setup and the ABS plastic fins absorb impacts without breaking. Inflatable SUP boards add versatility to your adventures. So roll the Thrive, toss it in your rig and fly, sail, or drive to your next paddling destination.
Double sidewall construction for increased durability and streamlined aesthetics. The heavy-duty PVC drop-stitch construction stands up to abrasion and abuse. Top-quality Leafield C7 inflation/deflation valve for unsurpassed reliability. NRS added a sturdy webbing handle in the center of the board for easy carrying and two handles on the front to aid you during an unexpected swim. Six stainless D-rings give you plenty of options for attaching gear and a leash. Board includes a high-pressure pump for easy inflation, a pressure gauge, Leafield valve adapter, carry bag, repair kit and owner's manual.
