Great Knife

Great tool to have accessible on my PFD while out in the Intracoastal waterways of East Central Florida. The sheath is exceptional at keeping the knife secured. I didn't think the bottle opening was essential but I have sense changed my opinion on that ?? ?? I just hope I never need a new PFD as the thing doesn't want to come off once it is on but that is a good thing.

At first I was concerned that its not inside a sheath, but once I got acquainted with the locking mechanism I was happy with it. Its a beauty!

Not bad at all

Very sharp. Great that it has a blunt tip and a blunt side to get between skin and a caught rope. Kind of hard to reattach once deployed. Never had any issue with it falling out. Titanium makes it ideal for salt water applications.

Meets my requirements. It is the right size and weight for the front of my PFD. I added a wrist thong of paracord to ensure I don’t drop the knife when removing it from the sheath.

The NRS Pilot Knife now has a Little Brother - the NRS Co-Pilot. This Knife has great features, Smooth Straight and Serrated Cutting Edges, Blunt Safety Tip, Bottle Opener, etc. Compact design is a Fine-Fit on your Personal Floatation Device (PFD). The Co-Pilot is an Excellent Knife for freshwater Boating and Rescue. For all of your Cutting-Needs the Co-Pilot has both Super-Sharp Straight and Serrated Sections. The Blunt Tip Design Protects-Against Unintentional Puncture of your Gear or Yourself. The Knife Also Doubles as a Flat-Head Screwdriver.
