I have had all manner of gloves in a competitive flat water kayak career. These are the very best!

Neoprene backing is a nice touch.

These gloves are comfortable and have sufficient padding and structure to prevent blisters, while not restricting movement. Good grip. Tested them on a three hour river paddle in 10-20 mi headwind. A winner!

So far no problems. NRS products that I have used hold up well to day trips which is what I do.

Used these gloves on a recent WW trip. They did great (I also have a thinner pair of guide gloves for summer use). I ended up needing to use my full neoprene gloves due to the conditions I found myself in (having your fingers covered is sometimes needed when things get a bit too cold).

I'm a competitive Dragon Boater, comfortable, lightweight, good grip!

I am going to use them on a 16 day Grand trip, rowing a loaded 16 foot NRS. The padding in the palms should keep me from getting blisters.

Great glove for cool to cold mornings on the water. Great for guiding on the river, fly fishing. The hooks don't stick to the gloves and you can still tie #26 flies on.

I have had a lot of other gloves but these dry quickly so you aren't putting on thick soggy gloves each morning. They have enough padding, though a little more would be good. Initially they felt too tight but are just right when wet.

These are great gloves. Extra padding for the hands, better grip on the paddle, lightweight, and waterproof. A must have for wet sports.

These guide gloves fit well and have an excellent grip for kayaking paddling even when wet.

I've owned both boaters and now guide gloves from NRS. These guide gloves stay wet. They provided great hand protection, but so do the boaters gloves and they dried much quicker. I should have stuck with the boaters gloves and would have had one not come up missing.

Velcro area too small, it keeps coming off.

Great gloves that worked well when I went canoeing for 4 days straight. Prevented any major blisters and when it got hot the cut offs kept my hands from sweating a lot. Only thing was I ordered a medium and I should probably have gotten a small. They were a bit big, but not enough to cause major issues, just not snug. Overall great buy.

Bought these as a Back up to my original pair I purchased for my wife and I. We both love them. After wearing them all day on a lake trip we both commented on how comfortable they are. Another big Plus is No Blisters. From beginning to end of the trip these gloves did everything we expected and more.

I had a problem with gloves on long kayak trips 7-14 miles. I was using weight lifting gloves and they would wear out after a few uses. I got on the live chat and they suggested the guide gloves. I have used them several times and they are great. They are comfortable and it's easy to do all functions I need to do with the gloves on. This weekend I have a kayak challenge called, Can You Canoe Cayuga, on Cayuga Lake in NY (most people use kayaks). It's 15 miles and I'm doing it to honor my 70th year on this earth.

Really good gloves. I've always preferred the tougher material of the Guide gloves over the Boater gloves in both half and full finger versions. The material is less likely to fray and still gives great comfort even in hot weather. They get worn every weekend and hold up well.

The palm is thin stretchy neoprene so it provides me a good feel of my paddle. Other gloves are over padded for me and I can't feel what I am gripping. I use it for kayaking to reduce abrasion on my hands.

Perfect fit, and good feel of my paddle.
NRS Guide Gloves offer blister protection and just the right touch of warmth. Fingerless design allows the finger sensitivity you need for great performance. 1.5-mm Terraprene neoprene provides both insulation and mobility. The ideal combination of warmth and dexterity. Light padding protects from blisters and calluses, without loss of feeling for oars or paddle. GripCote on the palms maintains positive grip for increased control. The adjustable wristband has a hook-and-loop "golf/bike glove" style closure for a secure, easy fit. Gloves are single needle stitched with high tenacity thread.
