Love these weight pockets

I really love these weight pockets. So much easier than a weight belt! They slide in and out easily, substantially made with nice zippers.

Weight pockets

This is a great answer to weight pockets. easily slides into place by the tracks built into the pockets themselves and has a nice quick release that stays put until you want them removed.

Well, it fits but the quality is not as good as the original

The zippers on these weight pockets are much smaller and don't seem as sturdy as the originals. The buckles on these as well as the originals are not designed to last ... And that is why I had to replace one. I am saying I would recommend these but only because there's no alternative other than a new BC or wearing a weight belt.

Easier on the back...

As a disabled veteran, I love the way the weight can be removed from your waist and added to your BCD. I would definitely recommend these anyone else that suffers from back pain.

Good product. Shape makes it very slim for the 9lbs it is supposed to hold, but very happy otherwise.

Must Have!

Much better than the standard ones that came with the BC. One of the originals broke within the first five dives, These are assembled differently (Better Quality) and I have had no other problems. Buy an extra set as spares and save your dive!

important backup

You could.....own a BC with ditchable weights and not have backup weight pockets....if you loose a weight pocket overboard or during a dive, well then you "could" wear a weightbelt...if there is a spare one around. But why, after spending good money on a quality BC would you skimp on buying the extra weight pockets? Do you really want to be on a vacation anywhere...and not be able to dive because of something so silly? Spring for it, its worth saving a dive, a day, a vacation. And no matter what anyone says, weight systems break/fail as well as get lost. Besides, when you upgrade someday, and go to sell your BC (which by then will no longer be made) you'll have the weight pockts to go with it, insuring your getting a better sale price!

WEIGHT POCKET

PURCHASED THE POCKETS BECAUSE I HAD THE HANDLE TEAR OFF OF ONE AFTER ONLY TEN DIVES, MAYBE I TRIED TO YANK THE POCKET FROM THE BC TO QUICKLY, I HANE USED THE NEW ONE ABOUT 30 TIMES NOW WITH NO PROBLEMS, TREAT THEM GENTLEY AND THEY WILL LAST, PS ,WHAT A GREAT BC .
