Therefore they will be harder to don and doff but more easily damaged.VANESSA M : Since there are only 3 sizes available, sounds like a MD/LG will be the best fit.

Easy to put on

I wear under my 5mm boots for great warmth in very cold water. Note that if you try to pull them on like cotton socks it will not work. You must turn them inside out and roll them over your feet starting at your toes. Very easy once you get the hang of it.

The description didn't specify size, and as a result they don't fit. I could probably exchange them, they the description failed to point out the socks were unlined, and pretty much impossible to get on dry.

Very Toasty

The fit is as expected. I wear these sock inside my neoprene booties. Feet remain comfortable while diving in Northern California waters.

The Mares 3 mm Ultra-Stretch Flex Socks are made from a durable nylon I super stretch neoprene rubber with glued and flat lock sewn seams for strength, added durability and ease of donning and doffing. These socks are great for use with snorkeling or long free-diving fins to protect your feet against abrasion. The Mares Ultra-Stretch Flex Socks can also be used under primary boots when diving in extremely cold water for added insulation by layering.
