Just in case: If you plan to replace S pockets with L to use more weight: the L pockets are ~2" longer, and some BCDs have too short sleeves for the L pockets to fit. Unfortunately, LP wrongly claims that large pockets generally fit in M-XL sized Mares BCDs (in my case, the Pure-SLS, which actually only fits S-sized pockets in all sizes). Large or Small size?WILLIAM S : If you only need one replacement weight pocket, can I assume that you still have one? It should be the grey handled, large pocket, stamped with “M-XXL:6 Kg/13 lbs”. The manual for the Ergo line of BCDs references a max combined weight of SLS and trim weights equal to 34 pounds. The trim weight pockets hold 4 pounds each, or a total of 8 pounds. This leaves 26 pounds for the SLS pockets, or 13 pounds per pocket. This is the capacity of the large SLS pocket.ROBERT G : I measured my XL Mares Pure BCD and it looks to be 7 inches long inside the pocket. I ordered a small and it fits perfect. You only have the choice between two size of pocket, Just be sure to pick the right one for your BCD. There's a little difference, the handle size is a little bit shorter on the replacement than it whas on my original pocket. And I think it's better like that. It should fit on your model too since it's SLS pouchMARCIA H : Yes, that is what I bought it for. The size depends on the size of the BCD.
