Breaths really well but needs a different oral piece.

Its a snorkel!

This is a good snorkel. I wanted it in blue, but it was on back order so I got it in black. On this one I would prefer to have some bright neon color at the top end of the snorkel for better visibility when surfacing. I wrapped it with tape.

Mares Snorkel

Perfect for Diving not so much for snorkeling make sure you understand what you are buying the barrel is open and easy to clear but it will not keep water out if a wave crashes over you.

Simple and effective

Used this while snorkeling in Maui. The snorkel was very comfortable and easy to pack and clean (the flexy part helped). I specifically looked for snorkels with a purge valve and no splash guard because of costs and simplicity. It's definitely a good basic snorkel. Didn't have any problems purging and it was easy to breathe through. The build quality is good and it doesn't feel cheap.

Great Snorkel

This open tube snorkel never closes off your air access since there is no anti-splash valve to malfunction. The built-in purge valve helps to keep the snorkel bone dry.
