The interface connects to the pin holes on the back side of the Nemo Wide. I presume the puck is the same set up. Connect to the USB port, switch Nemo to "PC" and youre off and running. Works as expected. Nothing too fancy. Wish it was cheaper.

I have the Mares Puck Air computer. The Mares website listed this interface with part number and I ordered it from Leisure Pro. The interface does not fit my computer. I had no time to return it and made it fit by cutting some plastic off the interface head. With most companies 5 to 7 days for shipping usually means 4 days. This arrive in 8 days.

First - Why are all Computer cables so expensive in this day & age? I wanted a back-up computer & the cable was 1/3rd the sale price of the computer. The connection to my PUCK was OK but I wouldn't call it a positive lock. I had no trouble with the Mares dive log or interface so from that perspective it was fine. I didnt load form the CD though. I just downloaded form the web.

Nice and compact connector. It works fine but I dont think its the best computer interface. I feel when you connect your DC to PC icons should automatically pop up to cue you on uploading your dives. With this program you have to go through menus to upload. Not a big deal once you get use to it.

Overpriced for a USB cable /w adapter. Software was free, however. Installation less than smooth. Help is lacking. After self-training it is an adequate log system. (Used /w Puck 2).

It's pretty sad that this is considered an "accessory" especially when the DRAK software is free from MARES. It's almost essential to backup your dive logs. I do wish the software were more customizable or easily customizable I'd like my dive reports to more closely resemble the PADI dive log format.

I loaded the drivers and DRAK software provided. I noticed that the DRAK version on the disc was older than the one provided on the Mares support page, so downloaded and ran that with no issues. It gets the job done, and am able to also import my dives into Diving Log 5.0. You cant beat Leisure Pros service and delivery.

Nice to be able to download a profile but software is very spartan with features. Cant add anything after the dive is downloaded but with Divelog 5.0 ($75) all information is available.

Arrived as expected. Inner Box was a little mashed and one side split out like it had gotten wet. Other container was fine. All the parts there, just doesn't connect to computer and lack of documentation make it useless.

Costing almost a third as much as the actual mares puck computer itself, this item seems way overprized (but once again, with the best prize found at Leisurepro). Obviously, if you want to directly download your dive log onto your PC, you need this interface, and there is nothing you can do about it. That said, the only information you could not copy by hand is the dive profile. So, it is a question if that information (and/or the convenience) is worth the money to you. Based on the other reviews on this site, I did not even bother installing the DRAK software from the included disk, but instead directly downloaded it from the mares website (you can download the software before buying the item, in order to check if you like the logbook functions that it provides). In my hands, the DRAK software worked fine… just that it really is not very good software for my needs for creating a dive log: It doesn't let you manually enter tank pressure before/after dive (though it may download these data if you have Puck Air), does not let you enter your exposure protection (except for generic "wetsuit", "drysuit"… but that is not very helpful when trying to remember what kind of weights you used for a specific condition), and so on. I don't know about the other free Mares software ("diveplanner"), because it would not install on my computer. So, for convenient download with subsequent dive log creation on my computer, I will probably need to invest another ~$30 for another program (there are several out there that are supposedly compatible with the Puck, but I don't have any good info on them yet).

Works just fine. At first thought I hadn't fit it correctly into the back of the computer. Turns out, it just doesn't fit that tightly. May have to hold the connector into the computer while downloading info

If you own a Puck you have to have this interface. Quite expensive but you have to have it if you want to download the info from your Puck to your logbook software. Works easy and intuitive. Download the free Drak and/or dive organizer software from the Mares site.

Although it took me a couple of tries to figure out how to download using this device, once I got it figured out it works GREAT!! Small and lightweight so it's easy to carry with you. A must have for those using the Mares Puck or Nemo dive computers. And it's priced very reasonably at Leisure Pro.

I don't even have to write my own review, the previous purchaser summed it up: "Like the other reviews have stated this is a do it yourself module. I think there is no manual for this thing because it simply does not function. I have tried all the downloads and patches at the Mares website and it still won't work. I don't know what else to do. Mares tech support have also been non-existent is helping to solve this problem." Ditto on all counts -- just completely locks up when I try to use it on my Windows 7.

The cable works, I cannot say the same for the dreadful DRAK software that came with the cable. Perhaps others have have a better experience, but you literally get NO no instructions on how to use the software. When I say that there isn't a manual, I'm not just talking about a printed booklet either. There isn't even a help file associated with the program. Once I managed to figure out how to move the dives to my PC, I couldn't get the data to display despite having confirmation of the transfer. When I found no manual on the MARES website, I contacted TECH support. I got a reply in broken English that there was no software manual and all questions were answered in their FAQs. When I replied that I had problems getting the software to work, I got no further reply. What a difference from ScubaPro or Sherwood's Customer Service. I don't think I'll be spending anymore money on MARES products again. Hopefully deleting and re-installing the sofeware will solve my dilemma.

Does what it should, but make sure you download the latest software from the web. The CD that comes with it wouldn't install on Windows 7 and is an old version.

Some of the air/gas features only work if computer is an integrated unit. These features could work with fillin info but Mares does not make that available. Love the computer, not crazy about the software. Recommend only because it is an add-on to the wrist computer!
