Dive Link does not Link

Does not connect to any of my computers or phone. No installation literature to help. No technical help whatsoever from Marse. The puck itself is not bad but if I cannot linke it to a computer, it makes the dive computer obsolete.

Good Interface - definitely better than manual entry

Works well for the most part. I've struggled to get it to pair at times, but could be user error as well. It's nice to have it auto-transfer directly to my app!

ease of use. Works as advertised

Just awesome with the ssi app. I just had to show my app with all my dives to the dive master in puerto vallarta before I dove. All between my phone, bluelink, and my mares computer

easy to use

I use it with the Mares Smart. It uploads to the app on my phone & ipad (called Dive Log). It's simple to use and I really enjoy being able to keep my log with the app rather than the paper log.

Makes life easier

Since getting certified with SSI this is a great tool to download all my dives to the dive log in the SSI app. I did expect for it to transmit more detailed information so I didn't have to enter in as much. Such as water temp, start and finish psi. Ect. But honestly I do enjoy entering some of the info. Great way to get basics enterd into app log so it's easy reference to transfer to my manual log book.

No PC connection or firmware update possible

Works with MySSI on my iPhone as advertised, however, the fact is if you ever want to update the firmware, you have to buy the connector with the USB hardwired connection so you can use their Dive Organizer software. I just bought both the Quad and this blue tooth connector. The verbiage in the Amazon and other seller's write ups say that you can use this to upgrade the firmware. THIS IS NOT TRUE. The Quad came with the old firmware installed and after receiving an email from Mares support confirming this, I now need to spend another $50 to do the firmware upgrade. My computer has blue tooth, however, there is no way to connect it to their program. Unbelievable that this is not possible through both connectors. Shame on the manufacturer to force the purchase of this USB connector to keep their product up to date and shame on the sellers to falsely state that the blue tooth device can allow the update.

Good idea. Poor execution.

Only seems to work via a third party app, and even then only imports partial dive info. If there were a better computer or iPhone interface then my rating would be different.

Writing in a log book is time consuming and if you don't have good handwriting illegible. Log books are small and difficult to fill in the blanks. To download the logbook of a dive computer using the Bluetooth low energy technology to MySSI app., (Android, iOS) use this clip and Dive Organizer to download your dives from Mares Quad, Puck Pro +, Smart computers (see SKU's: MRSQA, MRSQWC, MRSPPP, MRSSWC). Both software programs can be downloaded from www.mares.com.

Interface for Blue Link allows transferring data to MySSI app., allows divers to view and manage their dive data and supplement it with additional information for a complete logbook. The dive simulator is a useful diver training tool and analysis instrument. Interface is used with the Mares computers. This product will enable you to display and manage your dive data and complete the description of your dives by entering additional information. The software is also a useful training tool, with its dive simulator, as well as a valid analysis instrument.

Principle characteristics of the Interface are uploading of dive log data from your dive computer to MySSI app. via USB connection. Entry of additional data about the logged dives (e.g. type of dive), comparative statistics about your logged dives filters for selectively viewing certain types of dives. Time zone correction, different print modes with preview and graphic processing of the dive profile with analysis tools.
