Dive Organiser for the PC and if you have a Mac, you will need the Divers Diary software. You can find both at the Mares website. Hope this helps!David J : Mares does make a program that is free and compatible with this. However, there are better logging programs out there that are also free and compatible. I recommend you take a look at Subsurface. Subsurface works with the Dive Link 2 and is free.MIKE W : You need to download Mares Dive Organizer software. It's free. Just Google it. From what I recall the Pro Plus+ was mainly cosmetic changes and a few slight operational enhancements to the display, everything else remained the same but the price went up roughly $50.BRANDON B : Mares Puck Pro Wrist Computer Light Blue MFR: 414127 LB is the one I have and it works with it. Works well but should use different USB plug for clip

The cable is well made and works well, but I wish it used a USB-C or even mini-USB plug to insert into and attach to the clip and not the older small "almost square" plug. It would be good not to have to bring along a special cable just for the Quad.

Mares disappointment.

Mares is unresponsive in assisting customers with this product and the puck in goes with. I've given up and moved on to Aqualung.

Please save your money

This thing is the worst! Tried it on two different dive computers and plugged it in two two different computers as well nothing will even recognize it even after downloading the require software.

Bigger than expected

I bought this to use with my Mares Puck Pro Wrist Computer, item #414127 (I have the regular Puck Pro, not the Plus). It works fine, as expected, it does what it is supposed to do. It lets the Dive Computer communicate via USB with your PC or Laptop. Only 4 stars due to price and quality. It feels a little fragile, like I might break it. I use it with my Windows10 laptop, and Subsurface. (Subsurface is also great, as it is free, and allows data sync between phone, cloud and computer. I have not tried the Mares software).

Kind of a PITA, but it does work

The pairing was not automatic, but did go through manually. The software itself presents well once the data is entered, but entering it is not always as logical as you would expect. If the software was better I'd give it 5 stars because I do like the ability to review data and keep records. Another downside is you really have to have a laptop to use this. So entering data while on a week long dive needs to be done the old fashioned way, in your paper log book.

Obtuse book

Book says to hook it up and go. But no, you have to mess with it. Once you get it figured out, then it serves its purpose.

Dies what it is supposed to do.

It does what it's supposed to do though you do need to fiddle with the connection a little bit. It's not the most elegant of devices but does work.

Puck pro

Always works, great to have.

This little gem is your connection to data collected from your dives. It will upload dive data in to software which allows you to add pictures, dive info... etc. Desktop software takes about 45 minutes to figure out, but it's good once you do. This cable also allows you to update the dive watch.

Mares interface works

The electrical connection is a physically secure one so no doubts about whether or not connection has been made. In my opinion, much more desirable than pins with twist connection as with the Suunto Zoop Novo which I also use. I am also very satisfied that connection between my PC and Mares Puck is always easily made with their logging software or with Subsurface. Have not gotten the Zoop to make connection with DM5, which is why I bought the Puck in the first place.

Won't connect

Won't connect computer to dive computer. So kind of a waste of money since that is its purpose. Might be the computer app but not working.

Was a bit apprehensive after reading other reviews about troubles some folks had with this adapter, but, let me tell you, its worked flawlessly, just as it should and love being able to import info from my Puck Pro. I just followed the instructions to get right driver, then attached unit. It worked beautiffully just it should the first time, no issues with any of the dive log software I have.

Writing in a log book is time consuming and if you don't have good handwriting illegible. Log books are small and difficult to fill in the blanks. The Mares PC Interface for Dive Link 2 is designed to downloading logbook information from Quad, Quad Air, Smart, Puck Pro, and Puck Pro + Dive Computers (see SKU's: MRSQWC, MRSQA, MRSQAC, MRSSWC, MRSPP, MRSPPP) to PC or Mac. The Interface is also for upgrading firmware on Smart and Puck Pro. Required software: Dive Organizer (PC) or Divers Diary (Mac). Interface for uploading logbook dives to a PC to optionally store and organize the data, compute statistics, simulate dives and personalize the logbook file. The Infrared interface eliminates the need for special connections providing a simple, reliable ultra-modern data transfer system.

This product will enable you to display and manage your dive data and complete the description of your dives by entering additional information. The software is also a useful training tool, with its dive simulator, as well as a valid analysis instrument. Entry of additional data about the logged dives (e.g. type of dive).
