Mares X-VU Sunrise Mask

I dropped this mask on my bathroom floor from about 5 ft and the front glass separated from the mask silicone and I can't get it back in place. I have never and now will never get to use it. It does look nice, but also was quite tight on my nose, but I do have a larger than average nose for a woman (long not wide). The outer edges of the mask came very close to my hairline as well, had it been any bigger at all it wouldn't' have been able to seal on my face.

My wife loves this mask. She has had issues in the past due to her small face. Ordering was easy and shipping was extremely fast.

I am replacing my old googles after 20 years which I loved very much. It fits well on my Asian face and I love it!,, At the end, it feels very light and soft against my face. I can wear it loose and the water pressure will hold it well in place. Doesn’t leave any marks on your face. A few things that I struggled with in the beginning is the fit, first few dives I had water leaking but once I found a good position it worked very well! Two, the straps. It’s not easy to loosen while you have it on, it feels like it loosens more than I want it to. But trick was to put it on loose and tighten gently to the point where i can lift the lens off my face with light pull. Once I got used it to it I love it — the fit, comfort and it doesn’t fog us easily using baby shampoo. Remember to clean the lens with Toothpaste just as you would do with any new goggles!

I have trouble with leaking masks and this mask fits my face very well and does not leak. There is extra silicone below the nose and that seems to help get a good seal. Have used for several dives now and it works very well! The price from Leisurepro is also great.

Not as tight fitting as expected need to return if I can. I love Mares products I own 2 BCD Fins ect. but this mask does not fit my face.

I own the Mares i3 sunrise and X-Vision masks as well. All 3 are great, but I like the V-Vu most. It seems to have a smaller volume than the X-Vision. My X-Visions leak so slightly and they feel like they want to float off my face when not wearing a hood, but the X-Vu's stays perfectly in place and stays completely dry. I have a black skirt and it gives you a good angle of vision and completely blocks out everything else which is nice for tech diving. The i3 feels the same, but gives a really wide range of vision. The X-Vision provides an in between range of vision and is very comfortable, but requires (for me) just a little extra tightness on the strap. All 3 are great, but the X-Vu is most used/liked.

I have a fairly wide nose so finding a mask that doesn't get stuck on it is somewhat difficult. This mask feels like it was made for me. The mask is made for wider faces but even with my fairly small face it fits great. No leaks and clearing is very easy. Gave the lenses a good cleaning when I got it and good old spit is all that's necessary to keep it from fogging up. Wearing the mask for extended periods of time is no problem thanks to the LiquidSkin silicone that Mares uses. Great mask especially if you have a somewhat wide nose.

Most pink masks are made small for "children and women". They never fit me.This Mares mask has the fit of a standard sized mask. The LiquidSkin is ultra comfortable, and the mask is lightweight.
