I have small wrists, long fingers. This are the best gloves I have used as the wrist guard is tight to my wrist not letting water freeflow in. Diving in New England this becomes important. They hold up pretty well, but you do need to be careful on the wrist portion when putting on so as not to cause a tear, which lets some water in. I catch lobster so the fingers and palms have held up well against rocks.

Bought these 5 mm Mares Flexa gloves from <a href="http://Scuba.com" target="_blank">Scuba.com</a> (ebay) Tested them out Feb.-19-23 Lake Tenkiller Ok. Water Temp was 44* F ,Down to a depth of 40' . Fit ,Whatever size you ware in a machinx glove get that size i ware a meduim so i ordered the meduim and fit was perfect , if your not sure go to walmart and try them on (Tool section) . My hands were warm through the Dive , near the end of Dive my hands were a little chilled but not cold ,I defentley recomend these gloves for cold Dives,gunna get a pair for the Wife as well Also noticed when i pulled off the gloves warm water was comm'in out of them . Its my openion they could even handle colder temps as my hands and feet tend to get cold. Hope this you Guy's

These are comfy and kept my hands warm in 58 degrees. The fingers are a little long for my hands but most gloves are.

As a woman trying to get gloves for cold water swimming, it's really hard because they're all "unisex" which means they're for men. But these worked for me! The 5mm combined with longer wrists that have nice "sticky" neoprene is a great combo. Overlaps onto my wetsuit. My hands are actually warm (at least for a while) in under 40°F water. Love them. I got the medium which is what normally fits me closest in Men's sizing, but ideally I'm a Women's XL. The wrist was snug enough too for my small wrists, but I think the stretchy neoprene could accommodate thicker wrists fine. They're not even that hard to take off (probably because your hands haven't turned into ice claws!) Order whatever Men's size would normally fit you.

Best gloves for working in the cold water, sealing around my dry suit cuff and good dexterity when its not cold enough for three finger mitts.
