A great reel, very reliable and tangle proof.WAYNE L : John; on the bottom of the reel there is a brass clip screwed to the reel with a stainless steel strap. I use my reel all the time doing wreck dives in the Atlantic Ocean.ARLEN B : Yes. If you look closely at the picture you will see a brass clip on the left. It is heavy duty and permanently attached through a rubber fitting on the base of the handle. It's spring loaded for easy,but secure attachment to a D ring on the BC.DANIEL L : The reel has a brass clip attached to hook to your BC. The brass clip goes through a ring that is bolted on. If you loosen the bolt you can remove the brass clip and attach any kind of clip/ring you like.YAN G : This reel comes with a brass clip already attached. Look at lower left of image, you can see part of it.

Nice wreck reel

Works very well and the ratcheting system keeping the line on the reel when you don't want it to run off.

Dependable tool!

I have used it when wreck diving, especially when the visibility is less than five feet. I trusted the construction and operation of the reel and feed out was smooth and drag free, and take up very easy! No problems so far!

A Reel for seniors

Very well done, this reel is light weight and strong. For serious divers (technical or wreck dives). It is essential equipment for diving in caves, as the main reel. For jumps and searches you must use smaller reels. Manta has smaller models with the same technology.

A Reel for seniors

Very well done! Becouse it's made of aluminum its not heavy for that size. The break system work well, don't letting the reel fall off, neither the cable make nests.

Manta Senior (SR) dive reel

I have used several different types of reels over the years and most of them always backlash or birds nest. This is the best reel I have ever used, having auto tension, and it is just so easy to use. I have been diving since 1972 mainly on shipwrecks, and this is by far the best reel that I have ever had the pleasure of using.Having a slightly larger drum than the normal cheaper ones, it winds in a lot more simply taking less time to return to your starting point.

Designed for deployment of lift bags the Manta Junior Reel is constructed with all stainless-steel hardware, the spool is machined out of one piece of UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) plastic. This plastic has one of the highest resistances to the elements, and reel is supplied with either 320' (97.5m) of #36 line or 600' (76.2m) of #24 line.

The reels frame is anodized aluminum and the 3.25" (8.3cm) bolt clip is made of brass for corrosion resistance. Reel is factory set for tension, yet it still has a diver adjustable tension control. The unique spring loaded AFS (Anti-Free Spool) system mechanically prevents free falling and free spooling of line which almost eliminates the chance of backlash or bird nesting. Manta Reels are individually hand crafted in the USA.
