I use this for cool water Scuba diving but not COLD water. Spending a couple hours in cooler water you need something to stave off a chill. That being said I love this shorty and it works perfectly for my needs but I would not use this for any extended time in colder water (under 65 degrees) or you'll find yourself chilled.

Got a tear in the butt from doing rollbacks off the boat after just 4 dives.

Bought this as my first shorty since I like diving primarily in warm waters. I purchased it in August of 2023 ahead of a dive trip to Florida in December. Due to combination of sinus issues and weather I was unable to dive. Then in May of 2024 I went to Mexico's Riviera Maya where I did 6 dives (3 days) and only wore this suit for the last 4 dives (2 days). I always donned the wetsuit before getting on the boat and removed it right after getting off. The only times I made contact with anything, was sitting on the boat and sitting on the edge boat to do rollbacks into the water. I guess that the friction from the rollbacks was enough to tear the material in the middle of one of the butt panels. Disappointing since this is one of the more costly shorty and it only made it 4 dives.

Great shorty from someone that doesn't like wetsuits

I was impressed with how stretchy it was. Easy on and off. I am 5'7 42' chest 33' waist and wore a medium and fit well. Warmer than I expected in 81f water. I usually wear a Sharkskin vest or long sleev shirt and trunks. This Suit was helpful on the on the longer, 60 minute dives. Well made and fit was spot on

Great fit and comfortable, troublesome zipper

I like it quite a lot except that in a week of diving 17 dives it was comfortable and fit me well. However I was only able to pull the zipper up myself using the lanyard 1 time. My experience with other zip-up-the-back wetsuits is pretty limited so perhaps this is common?

My opinion, they run large

Used it 5 times skin diving in water 67 to 71....3 mm seems much better than my old 2mm......making wave entry it has no water entry.......but as water starts to get in thru zipper too much pools by spine. My size by size chart shows ML & /or L....ordered large.....since its hyper stretch should have ordered medium if M/l wasn't available.

Worth the cost

Super stretchy, comfortable and easy on and off. Costs a bit more than the standard thermoprene, but worth it. I have a full suit in the standard thermoprene, but when it comes time to replace it, I'll definitely go with Thermoprene Pro.

Great buy

Great suit and easy to get in and out of. I went diving in Punt Cana and really appreciated having my own suit instead of using a rental. Only down side was I may have ordered the suit one size too large as the legs seem to not hug my thighs. Otherwise it’s an excellent made suit.
