It works well but the inner flap under the zipper tore with little shear force.

This fits great and is easy to get into solo. As others noted, getting out is a challenge unless you have a rash guard on but I’m not sure what they could do about that.

This Tropical Warm Water 3mm wet suit on the market! Having a front heavy duty zipper make it a true scuba diving wet suit. It's constructed with high quality neoprene rubber and nylon thread for long term wear.

I have 5 Henderson wet suits of various thicknesses and duplicates. I love the front zipper and can't figure out what anyone would want a rear zip. This one is a very nice style and has all the features I like.

Great suit fits well. Sizing is correct. Only thing I would rethink is the front zipper. I thought it might be easier to get out of suit but it wasn’t any easier.

You can’t beat the quality of a Henderson 3mm. I wanted to try a front zip suit and wasn’t disappointed. This suit is super flexible and very comfortable in and out of the water. I highly recommend this suit.

I love the ease with which I can done the suit on. Very easy and no hustle trying to catch the zipper line behind you (if you are on the rounder side you will know what I mean). However, once you are in it and it is wet, getting out of it by yourself is a chore. It is like trying to get out of your own skin. You have to try it to understand. Usually not a problem if you have a buddy that will help you starting one shoulder out. After many tries I can do it myself while contorting in a very unnatural ways. It fits amazing though. I would give it 5 stars if not for the taking off conundrum.

I really like Henderson suits. As a professional diver I have used many different brands over the years. I really like the front zipper. The suit is very comfortable and warm. I just returned from two weeks of diving in Bonaire. I couldn't be more satisfied with this suit.

Purchased this front zip model for both Kayaking and scuba diving. While tricky, am able to remove suit without any help (difficult cuz of front zipper). Tried suit with scuba in 54 degree water using a hooded vest and was warm enough at shallow depths. Willl evaluate Kayaking next season but expect it will perform well based on experience to date. I also own the rear zip version which performs well but sometimes requires help to zip up over a hooded vest.

Henderson sizing runs a little bit big, if your belly is bigger than your chest then this suit will fit you well.

Wet suit works well but is a bit hard to get off since the zipper stops at the waist. Would work better if the zipper as six inches longer

Ordered a different suit (Pinnacle) in a XLS--I easily fit into the suits size range--I'm 5'9", 195 lbs., with a 46" chest. When I received it it took me 20 minutes to even get into it and then I couldn't pull up the zipper--so tight. Sent it back and went with the Henderson in the 2XL as I already had the same suit and size in a shorty and knew it would fit---except I was worried about the length. Sure enough everything fit except it was a good 4 inches to long in the legs---sent it off to a shop that does wetsuit repair to have the legs shortened and waiting for it to be returned. I usually only wear a shorty for the tropical diving that I do but needed some more insulation for some cavern diving I'll be doing soon with a 2.5mm vest under the suit--- hope it's enough or I'll need to wear the shorty over the full suit.

I am 6'1"; 212 lbs; 39" waist; 46" chest; and a couple of inches of belly that won't stay off. Size XXL fits perfectly. I dive in the Florida keys and throughout the caribbean. I have always worn the Henderson 3mm long sleeve shorty in the past. I got the full suit to add a little more warmth in the winter. The jury is still out. But, at this point, I think I like the long sleeve shorty better. It offers most of the warmth and coverage, and is easy to completely flush with water if nature calls. I love thermoprene. It is soft, warm, flexible, and doesn't bind. Sized for an American body.

Fit, comfort, warmth

Great travel companion, this full-length3mm nylon-2jumpsuit is outfitted with a generously cut front-zipper that some divers prefer for easier donning. An anatomically friendly suit design translates into a form-enhancing fit and better thermal performance. As with all Thermoprene suits, divers also get the benefits of the best in construction techniques. The abrasion resistant Thermoprene material is both glued and blind stitched, which clamps down on water seepage and provides tremendous durability. Cuffs are finished with a Spandex trim and Freedom Flex kneepads guard the knees and lower legs without sacrificing comfort.
Divers seeking a great value will appreciate Thermoprene's balance of performance and price. The latest technological innovation from Henderson, this new material delivers greater flexibility and improved features not found in standard neoprene wet suits, yet at a reasonable cost perfect for the cost-conscious buyer. Thermoprene is crafted from a high-quality neoprene and a low pill fabric. It has 75% more stretch than standard neoprene. Thermoprene is noticeably easier to don, pulling over the shoulders and around the torso with less huff and puff than standard wet suits. Also, the fabric's exterior stands up extremely well to the wear of BC straps and weight belts. Suit is available in multiple sizes.
