My 5 mm Henderson is not made of the Thermoprene material, but I have another, 3 mm suit that is Thermoprene. That material makes t's so much easier to get on! I think the combo here of a 5 mm suit made with the Thermoprene will give you the warmth and ease of on/off that you are looking for. It looks like it's on sale too!JAMES W : Only difference is a smooth patch on the front to limit suit abrasion from the board. Up to you may not last as long. I use a surf wet suit for diving never had an issue.YAN G : It is somewhat stretchy, but the Hyperflex suits are better for surfing.MEI-HWA F : I don't know why it would work for surfing. It keeps me warm in 70 degree water when I scuba.

6'0" 245lbs fits fine 60F water, I was warm.

60°F water. I was warm and the material made this wetsuit easy to donn and doff. May just be me but I had to add a short section of shoestring to the zipper line in the back as it was a little short for me to grab and pull around my back but I'm a little large so might be my body type. 6'0" 245lbs.

Stitching coming undone.

i'm 6ft tall skinny. ordered the medium tall. fits great. stitching near the hips are coming undone just a little bit. i've only done 6 dives so far. henderson does have a warranty so if it begins to fall apart i will reach out to them. 5 stars otherwise.

Great for the price, however some of the seams are a bit rough and scratch the skin after prolonged use. Could wear an undershirt and limit it a bit though

Great wetsuit in short length

Just got home from diving in Key Largo. The suit worked great. I was worried about the tightness in the neck but it did not bother me underwater. The person who helped me choose size did a great job. I'm 5'3", weigh 139 pounds and the 10short fit me well. I returned the 12S because it was too large and actually haven't had time to check to see if they credited my credit card yet. It's very plain, but worked well.

Everything as promised and more.....

We ordered the Henderson youth wetsuit for our soon to be 13-year-old to get ready for a trip to Bonaire in March 2023. While he has a 3mm wetsuit already, we wanted him to be comfortable as the dives progressed and to ensure that he stays warm. The website was easy to navigate, and had all of the information that we needed to make the selection without having to worry about digging for information. The offered price was just as good or better than any other websites out there. While the wetsuit was not in stock when ordered, when we called the customer service folks followed up and let us know that the wetsuit would be drop shipping directly from Henderson. No more than 2 days later we receive the wetsuit as promised. There were no sizing issues, and we look forward to using the wetsuit in Bonaire in 3 weeks!!

Great suit

Great Wetsuit! Please Be Sure To Add Additional Weight When Diving

Wetsuit is great. However, I failed to consider the effect a new wetsuit has the weight I needed to dive with. I am 190 lbs and with a 2/3 wetsuit I typically dive comfortably with 6 to 8 lbs. With this new suit, I had to add an additional 8 lbs!

I tried several 3mm suits. Needed one to dive on wrecks in Key Largo in February. This one fit me the best. The arms were a little loose; but, I wore a rash guard under it and was never cold all the way down to 130'.

Great wetsuit, great price, perfect fit

This is a great wetsuit at a great price. My older son and I have Henderson wet suits but the dive shop here does not carry junior sizes for my 12 year old. We ordered using the size chart and the fit is perfect. The price is reasonable enough to invest in over renting, even knowing my 12 year old is going to outgrow it eventually. Especially since it is a 5 mm and rentals are only 3mm.

Fairly happy with it

The only problem I have with it is cold water leaks in through the zip. If it was made with a 10 mm spine pad there would be less leakage.

Sizing

Runs small, I wear a 6 in clothes, 5?5?, 130 lbs, needed to buy a 10 in the wetsuit, it was a little big in the chest (I am a 34), you can wear under armor underneath.

This is a great suit. I'm 6'4 190lbs and got a Large Tall that fits me really well. Used it a couple of times in colder waters and worked out great. However, I would not recommend this for longer periods when diving below 70F.

I'm reviewing this before I've worn it in the water so this is just to help with sizing. I wear a size 14 clothing. I'm between the W1 and W2 sizes. My bust and hips fit W2 but waist W1. I went with the smaller size because I couldnt find a reaaonably prices W2 and after reading reviews saying it was very stretchy. I'm glad I did. It's snug the way it should be without any gapping.
