ANDREW B : Does the neck get longer as the size gets bigger? I'm a LT for my wetsuit and my first hood wasn't long enough in the neck to tuck into my wetsuit. JOHN C : I assume the head part is 7mm. Is the neck and bib both 5mm?Mario C : correctCarla C : Yes, the head and neck are 7mm. The part that tucks into the wetsuit, the bib, is 5 mm. Also there is a 5 mm ring around the face. One can easily cut this for size & comfort. I have used this many times snd I find the air release valve works well so no air pocket forms inside the hood. This is my go to hood at the quarry.

Nice quality but maybe order next size up.

Seems to be very good quality. Anytime I order things online, I always have a problem with sizing. Going by the size chart, I should fit into a medium or large, as my head is 22.4". I ordered the large and it's too tight. In fact, I already have the 5/3mm hood, in a large size and it fits! So I guess I'll be exchanging this for an XL. It's one of the problems of not being able to try-on before buying, but with <a href="http://Scuba.com" target="_blank">Scuba.com</a> it's easy to return.

Large bib but works well

The bib was a bit large. The face hole was actually large enough and the right size for me I didn?t need to cut any! Worked fine for me. Star off for the excess bib fabric.

Excelente Hood

Good Solid Hood for Cold Diving

I have only used this on one trip, but it was a 3-day multi dive experience in which I was using the hood quite a bit. The skirt took a while to relax and stop trying to fold upward (just the way it was packed and shipped). After about a halfway through the second day of diving, it finally stayed down. Overall, this is a very comfortable hood. I purchased a large size and it fit snuggly without being constrictive once I was in the water. It stayed on when I took off my mask and didn’t interfere with equalization or anything. I look forward to using this for years to come.

Great hood, great value

All in all I’m really impressed with this hood. It fits perfectly and it does the job very well. Just drove off the coast of California recently in 50° Waters and I was toasty warm. The hood does go low on the forehead a little so if you have a mask with a large skirt you may need to pull it back but other than that great hood
