Hope this was helpful :)GREG S : Not exactly sure of MM but it is a liitle thicker than a normal dive skin...perhaps that's why I like it so much as it keeps me very comforatble in tropical waters and the extra thickness complements it's rugged durability. Excellent for spear fishing...my buddies said with black mask and gloves and dark blue fins...they had a hard time finding me against the reef foilage. Hope this helps...you may want to order a size larger if you are a "large" large as these tend to run a little small. A good investment!
Greg S. MissouriREBECCA H : It is just a thick Lycra. Similar to a thick swimsuit, does not provide any warmth just skin protection. We wear them in Mexico or warm tropical waters. Nice skin.DAVID A : It is a thick Lycra suit more than anything. Warm enough for the Caribbean alone... Or as an under layer for a wetsuit. They are made small, so if you want it a bit loose. Im about the same hight and weight as you are. I got the medium one. Altough it fits well, it is somewhat tight. I was thinking about getting a large for my next purchase. I would recomend going with the bigger one.
Shopper : How thick is this wetsuit ? Did it keep you warm ?GREG S : Henderson has always been a name I"ve trusted due to their quality. I own 3 other dive skins (dark green, light blue and black) and they were perfect for the Florida Keys warm waters as I mainly wore them for protection against accidental contact with fire coral and possible jelly fish stings while hunting lobster. So, I was pleasantly surprised to find this camo dive skin was twice as "thick" as the others and is an excellent piece of dive wear for the cooler temps in the Ozarks mountains lakes (Table Rock, Bull Shoals, Beaver) located close to where we live in Missouri. My main reason for purchasing was for free diving with a speargun in the Florida gulf waters
this August. I've seen videos where the divers are almost invisible against the coral...but that is for vision only...the fish's radar tells them your size, speed and direction...so swim close but at a 90 degree angle to their hide and then bring the speargun into play! You can't go wrong with the quality of this dive suit and it will be sufficient for the cooler lakes in the midwest.JULIUS G : It is Lycra thin, like a regular swim trunks thin.

Very cool looking though.BRIAN W : It is very thin. I do not have a measurement of the thickness (estimate 0.5mm) however it is not designed for warmth, merely as a camouflaged "skin". It is very similar to the lycra or other skins I have used in warm tropical waters or under a drysuit for post-dive elements exposure protection.
I ordered mine based on the size chart and it was a good close fit. If you want to add warmth to this camo skin, I would order a size or two larger so it will fit over an actual wetsuit. The material does stretch well, so it might fit over a smaller (3mm) suit in the correct size.

Awesome
Great suit! used it 30 times the last two weeks at Socorro Islands. Wore my 5mm wet suit over this and this suit made it sooo easy to put on. Go with one size larger. i usually take a large but the extra large was easy to put on and take off. Highly recommend!

Skin
I use the skin suit for protection from the sun when riding my Waverunner and snorkeling. It fits well and is very comfortable. When it is wet, it helps to cool you down when riding the Waverunner on hot summer days - I love it!.

I would buy this product AGAIN!
I use this as strictly a rash guard in tropical waters and also under my Henderson 5mm wet suit. It makes putting on my wet suit much easier.

nice skin
Nice skin and the fish do not seem to see me as well as with other skins, but the stitching was faulty and some seams opened up. we will see if Henderson repairs it under the warranty.

nice skin
Very nice skin but I ordered a large which is what I get in everything else and had trouble putting it on. XL is on backorder and should come soon. Otherwise no problems but Hernderson's size chart is not so good. I am 5-9 and 170 so pretty average and the chest and thighs were way too tight. Bought it hoping that I could get closer to photograph animals.

Nice quality skin.
I read the reviews and followed the sizing advice given. However, if I would have ordered the XL instead of the 2X I believe I would have been 100% completely satisfied. I believe once the suit gets wet its going to sag and droop all over me, not quite the fit I was hoping for. However I am keeping it anyways. The entire reason for the purchase was for the camo. It is a very nice skin.

Product okay, service OUTSTANDING?
The fit according to the charts was waaay to small. Thought the pattern was interesting, but upon looking at it in person, naaaaa. Great for a parade in San Francisco. I will stick to basic black. The little black suit great for all occasions. However, the return was flawless, and the folks at Leisure Pro know what they are doing. Great service. I will purchase from them again!

My 2nd Henderson Hotskin & not my last
I am a scuba diver and use this no matter the water temperature. Either for sun protection or under a wet suit. This camo lycra is definitely thicker than my first hotskin. Skeptical when I first put it on -it did seem tight (5'5", 150lb Female: bought size M) but after just 1 use it relaxed to a fit more like my other hotskin - snug but comfortable. Sleeves too long but not a real problem. This and my Rx mask are the only gear I take when travelling for diving. Love it!

Camo skin
I have been over using this skin for about a year now and I am definitely satisfied. It is very snug but stretches a lot. I thought it was too small at first and wanted to return it, but being Canadian makes it "unpractical" unless it is a very expensive item. I actually got used to the very snug fit to the point were I am using it over my 3mm wet suit!

skin tight fit
At first i thought this item was small to size...its a good thing im used to wearing fitted clothing..i guess skinnies are meant for a snug fit to keep you warm....for people who would want an easy,comfy fit they should get a size bigger than what the size chart says....cant wait to get these underwater

good skin
I have only gotten to use this once but it seemed to work great and has a really good Digi-camo pattern. I am 6'1" 157lbs and bought the large thinking it would fit perfect, but it is alittle short in the length it stretches though so its not that awkward(just hope the foot loop seems dont tear). It is a great price for a quality skin. I found it available on other sites for about the same price but now I only purchase items like this from leisurepro.com because of the service, prices, and courtesy. Thanks again guys keep up the good prices and work.
