Debra F : Does the molded sole have arch support?MICHAEL W : No, the sole is flat. If you think arch support is necessary I would suggest you make an arch support pad, possibly from a scrap piece of wetsuit material or foam, and bond it to interior surface of sole. However, I do not think you will notice lack of arch support while swimming, possibly just while walking.
LARRY G : Should I order a size larger since these are going over a drysuit sock with additional cloth socks inside?DAWN R : I wear size 7 1/2 wide shoes normally (women's). Per the Henderson Boots Size Chart, the conversion size shows 6. This is my 3rd pair of this same model Henderson Boot that I have purchased over many years as this is an excellent boot. I always get size 6 as it is a perfect fit - not too loose or too tight on my heels and toes - very comfortable; I do not wear any additional socks, etc inside the boots (Florida diver). Per the chart, if you wear a size 9 men's shoe, you should get a size 9 Henderson dive boot if nothing else is worn inside. So I would definitely go up one size to accommodate your added socks. And you can always call Henderson and speak to a rep about it. You can also order 2 different sizes, try them on with your socks, and return the pair that doesn't fit - this is what I did when I bought my first pair of these boots since I wasn't sure how the sizes ran (decades ago).MICHAEL W : My shoe and hiking boot size is 9 or 9.5 depending on the shoe. My Henderson boots are size 10 and I wear a 3mm wetsuit sock with them. With the wet sock, they are easy to put on and remove, foot feels good inside. My 3 or 5 mm wet suit cuff is also under the zipper. Remember these boots need a generous foot pocket in your fins because the sole is wide and stiff.JOHN K : Not sure. I wear these barefoot with a Henderson SemiDry. The boots seem to be pretty true to size.
STACY T : the size is for men or women? how thick is the sole?ERIC G : I just assumed they were mens sizes. Soles are fairly thick. Have used them in bonaire numerous trips with shore diving and they hold up well.GARY W : The size 5 was for my wife. She wears a size 5 or 6 in a street shoe and these fit her. As for the sole it is somewhat thick. In fact, she had to purchase a different set of fins as these boots would not fit into her old fins.

I wear sz. 11 shoes everyday. My Dive booties are also sz. 11. They fit comfortably. i've had no problems. Runs Small IMO

I thought these ran very small. I wear a size 15 shoe, so scuba boots are hard to find. I tried a 15 in a different Henderson model, and they were too small, so I ordered these in a 16...and they were the same size as the other model in a 15! The construction of the boot seemed fine, but be aware that the sizing may be off.

Love these boots.

This is my third set of these boots. This set is a backup as I am always afraid when I find something good, that a replacement won't be available when I wear it out and these boots have been available for quite a few years.. I do a lot of shore diving and having a semi-rigid bottom to the boot is important. I wear Aeris fins (which I love) and they fit the foot pocket well. Previously I had Oceanic split fins and they fit their foot pockets as well. Regarding sizing: I wear a women's size 7-1/2 to 8. My boots are a unisex Size 6. They are snug but comfortable. If you are smaller, say a size 7-7-1/2, you will be fine. If you are on the larger side -- mostly size 8-8-1/2, I would go for the size 7. I use nylon socks underneath which I highly recommended for inside any boot.

Love me some Henderson

Run a tad small I think, don't be afraid to go up a size... The hard sole is outstanding for rocky beaches, though the heel makes donning fins just a bit more difficult. Highly recommended.

Best pair of feet

This is my second pair in five years, I dive twice a day every two days in the summer. They hold up well, the bottom soles are great for boat conditions and fit perfectly in my Finns with out crushing my toes. I have never had a problem with the construction of them, glue/stitching hold up vary well. Recommend to anyone.

Narrow in the toes.

Have only used them in a couple pool sessions so far. Build quality/materials are great. Overall sizing is right on point but the toes squeeze a little... didn’t have any issues from a few hours at a time in the pool but thinking after a long week of diving there may be a blister or two... we shall see.

Decent Boot, runs a little large

These were a last minute order before a dive trip and they worked out fine. However, if we had had more time before leaving we probably would have exchanged them for a smaller size or a different boot. My husband is a pretty true size 14, and these ran a little large. Because of this, they weren't as comfortable as they could have been had they fit more snugly. They didn't really seem like 5mm, but the sole was pretty rugged, which is what he was looking for - not necessarily warmth since this was Caribbean diving.

These 5mm nylon-2 Neoprene boots have glued and sewn seams for strength and durability.
