MICHAEL S : How hot or uncomfortable do the 7mm gloves get in warm water?  Do they overheat?Mario C : For me the biggest drawback would be mobility, in warm waters is good to have a thinner glove that allows for more dexterity.. For some could be too warm.. but people tend to have different opinions on what is warm and too warm...LINDA A : They were fine at the surface and above 20 feet at 70s. Below that is a thermacline and cold but the were not too warm shallow ;)DON P : When it gets too warm I either wear a lightweight glove or no gloves at all. 7mm Henderson Gloves

Good but hard to do anything in them. Bought them for deep cert and cool water diving but may look for a semi-dry suit with built-in gloves and hood, or a dry suit. It would be hard to deal with blowing out a full face mask with these on for example.

Henderson 7mm aqualock gloves

I ordered a medium and they seemed a little small, but I have been wearing them around the house and they seem to be getting broken in. Henderson is my favorite wetsuit. I have a 7mm aqualock, a 7 mm Greenprene, a 5mm regular wetsuit, and a 3mm Greenprene suit. They?Äôre the best. I have worn the 7mm aqualock in British Columbia and was plenty warm. I don?Äôt like using dry suits although I have two DUI suits. I wore 5mm gloves in BC and my hands were ok, but I want to try the 7mm and see if they keep me warm without losing too much dexterity. A superior glove

Truly excellent gloves, warm, comfortable fleece lining, flexible and the extra wrist length is great. First use was last week on 20 dives in the Galapagos, 68F water. The only challenge for me is the sizing - I had to order the XL for finger length, but the wrist is then too large on me. Nevertheless, worked very well with the Henderson semi-dry suit aqualock feature - the suit has a snug neoprene layer next to your wrist, that the glove goes over, then the suit's outer layer goes over the glove.

Well made glove, runs true to size

First off bought these for surfing. While I haven’t used these yet but they seem to be well made, my only issue if they didn’t have xxl in stock so went with the xl which is a little tight (mostly in the finger) but have a feeling they will loosen up.

Too bulky

I had to send them back, too bulky, really no dexterity. I got waterproof 5mm with wrist zippers, way better and feel the same warmth.

The Henderson 7mm Aqua Lock Quick-Dry Gloves are also designed as part of the Aqua Lock system these gloves utilize the same construction techniques employed by all Aqua Lock Wetsuits. Every seam on the gloves is first double glued and blind stitched inside and out. Then the outer seam is coated with a special waterproof Aqua Lock liquid tape barrier which seals the seam from water entry and helps protect the stitching from damage and unraveling. The interior of the Aqua Lock Gloves is lined with Henderson's new Quick-Dry interior.

This revolutionary hydrophobic lining will significantly accelerate the speed at which the Aqua Lock boot will dry, allowing too dry in just a few minutes not hours. Imagine never needing to put on a cold, damp boot prior to your second dive or experiencing the disappointment of waking up in the morning only to find your accessories did not completely dry overnight. The quick-dry interior is super soft and adds a luxurious feel to the interior of the boot and makes donning and doffing the boot easier. Additionally, the quick-dry interior will limit water entry and water movement throughout the boot keeping you warmer longer.

A special gauntlet extension allows for a secure grip when pulling gloves over the mating skin wrist cuff. The Aqua Lock glove exterior features Henderson's renowned Aquasilk laminate. Aquasilk provides a 250% stretch exterior for easy donning and doffing of gloves. The palm and fingers are also coated with a special thermally bonded silicone grip pattern to assure a secure grip in all conditions. Gloves are available in multiple sizes.
