Shopper : Are there any issues with using a size small spring strap to replace the existing strap on regular sized fins?JOE S : You can use any size spring strap on these fins. They will work with the fin. This gives each fin not only three positions and size options for the spring strap, but it also gives you more options for sizing by being able to use a larger or smaller spring strap. The only issue you may have to worry about is the spring strap either being too tight or too loose for your boot.ROBERT K : i replaced the XL strap w the 2XL strap. it's kind of a pain. the screws are very tiny and you have to be able to line the screws up w the end of the spring and tighten them...you need some small tools. and good eyes. but it is certainly do-able. probably easier to take it to a dive shop for the re-install, but you can do it yourself.
