I purchased two of these bags for my teenagers for a trip to Hawaii and I'm glad I did. They were durable and perfect in size to hold their BCD's, fins, mask, booties and wetsuits. We were also able to put other things in there to maximize the 50 pound cutoff restrictions at the airport. The bag is tough, real tough. It's made of tarpaulin material and held up real well. Unlike the Cressi Sub Gorilla XL Duffle Bag which we took on the same trip and literally watched it disintegrate before it even reached the boat. However, you need to secure the shoulder straps and tie them down when checking them in at the airport so they don't get snarled in the conveyor belt. On the boat, all the contents in the bag remained dry. The bag wasn't overbearing and hanging out blocking the path for divers to enter and exit the boat like the Cressi Sub Gorilla bag. The seams are well made and the material is rugged. The zippers are durable and provided no problems. I like the internal zippered pocket and the ID pocket on top. According to Hollis, the bag "meets most airline carry-on requirements." The price is a little higher than most but you get what you pay for and this back is definitely worth it. I own five duffle bags and this is by far the best one.
