I picked these up while in Sint Maarten and they worked perfect without boots as I ensured I had the correct fit. I have about 25 hours with them in the water from walking in to dropping off a boat. Easy to put on and take off. They will be coming with me to the Grand Caymans in a few months.

I bought these two years ago before moving to Maui. They have held up great. I had read reviews from others who did and did not like them. I swim at least 3 days a week in the ocean here in Maui. As I have said I have used these for almost 2 years and are still in good condition. I have gotten another pair as back up. Even the straps are the originals I recommend these highly.

New to snorkeling and all the equipment. On my first trip to Bonaire I bought these. Quickly learned I should have bought fins with booties(?) as access to the water was over coral and tough on the feet! Once I did manage to get in the water though, the shortcomings of these fins became evident. The foot pocket would buckle in the middle (arch) of my foot and caused cramping to my foot. There isn't enough stiffness and support built into the fin in the foot area. Also the general strength of the fin was weak aside from the foot area and was easy to get the fin to fold over with a stronger kick. I will replace these before I go again!

These fins look and feel like they came from Walmart They are very short and cheap looking. The price should've been my first clue. Buy a quality set and you'll keep them for years. These won't last 6 months.

This is one of the most comfortable fins I've own. I used the Volo one mainly for travel diving and snorkelling. It is lightweight, comfortable even without booties. In warm water diving I use it without booties which makes kitting up a breeze and less stressful. I've used this in many dives including demanding situation. Recently I used them in Maui and in almost all of the dive the under current was extremely strong and I was still just about able to propel. However, on my last dive I was caught by an up rift current that swept me away from my team. No amount of finning could get me back to my team. (all use full size fins) So be aware in most cases this fin is sufficient and extremely comfort but if you are in strong current condition I would suggest to get a stronger fins like Aeris Accel or for equivalent comfort to get a split fin. The Volo One is great with all finning style.

I replaced a full foot fin that I really liked with these. Took them on a trip to the Caymans and they work great. Used them several times a day for 7 days.. They work well with or without 2mm boots. Quality and workmanship is good. Great light weight traveling snorkeling fin.

They are good fins and move well in the water but they irritate the sides of my feet. The rubber is hard and unforgiving. Probably just the shape of my foot but I have gone back to my my old full foot fins that have never bothered my feet. They are a nice flexible rubber foot.
