I bought the Venu Sq, for my girlfriend and, she is very happy with it. Also, she goes to walk every day to measure the time and miles, on her watch!

I bought this about a month ago to use mainly for tracking swimming yardage. It works great for that so far. I am still trying to work out how to use it to its full potential.

I received my Garmin 2 weeks ago. Took a couple of days to get clock face & features I wanted set up. Loved all the features except for the notification vibration. It was very weak & if I was in a noisy place or was active I could not feel the slight vibration or hear a discernible beep. Deal breaker for me as I really depend on that feature. I'm returning it. All other features were really nice!!

I like the features of the watch. Navigating thru the scrolling features is a bit cumbersome. Trying to get the activity to stop is not intuitive. To get to text messages you have to go thru several screens to get to the review screen. The text is way too small and I see on the forum that requests to allow the text size to be changed were rejected. Music feature works okay, but again it takes too many steps to get to the player. I did download my music to the watch. The text size is probably something that I would try and test out if I bought another Garmin.

I've had this watch now for over 3 years. It's pretty reliable. Occasionally it will disconnect from my Garmin Connect app on my android phone. Then I have to reconnect and pair to my phone. I would like them to update the list of activities and add pickleball. The strength option is ool on the Connect app as it shows which muscle groups you have worked. I find I am not using the music very much.

I love data, but it's hard to ID what all these mean. My Body Battery is telling me I'm stressed when I'm sleeping. Really? And the Stress Level is always in the 20s.... is that normal for someone my age/weight/gender? I'm not sure. I found a watch face that can show steps, date, percentage of battery charge, but it is hard to figure out how to add them. So many pieces of data, and I really want to be able to use it all, but I've had it a month, and am learning still trying to optimize it for my use. I hope it is easier on the golf course. Very happy to have that feature, but haven't used it yet.

I love my Garmin. I wanted a square watch something different. It has everything i wanted in a watch. The battery last a week better than my previous watch. The only thing is I wish it came LTE so I could receive and answer phone calls. It was the shape I like. I hope the upgrade will come in the square shape and LTE in the future. I will buy again.

I bought this almost a month ago and have been impressed with the available apps and battery life. I have not been able to use it on an outdoor run or on the golf course so I can't verify the accuracy of the GPS but all other functionality works great. The band is comfortable and easy to clean. Only drawback is the screen seems to scratch easily but this is my first watch in awhile so I could be exposing more than I realized.

I have worn the Venu for a little over a month now. It is a nice watch with lots of features. Im not crazy about the fact I cant see my SO2 count easily. I have asthma and that would be very helpful. It is a feature I had on my old, not Garmin brand, features.

I like this watch; it feels good on my thin wrist and does not interfere with my active lifestyle. I bought it to track my strength-training sessions (monitor heart rate, calculate calorie burn, etc.). Unfortunately, the documentation provided for operating the watch hardware and its mobile control app, CONNECT, are inadequate. It seems to have been written by programmers who are already very familiar with the technology versus being written by communications or documentation professionals who understand how to write for those who may have no previous knowledge about the technology. Eventually I'm figuring things out through trial and error versus help from the Garmin provided instructions. However, this is not an ideal customer experience as I would like to be able to understand and use the product's features without such a tedious time investment. This lack of user-friendly, comprehensive documentation is the only reason my rating is a four star. As for the watch hardware itself, it rates five stars, IMO.

I absolutely love the ease of using it. Every once in a while you have to reconnect. I have to charge it every two days. It also won't connect to music, or my beats. But, it's a great basic fitness watch. I would probably have gotten another one, but this one is great for what I need it for.

I find this Garmin Venu Sq to be extremely tough for what I used it for which is Kayak fishing. I can spend $300 or more for another brand but I would worry about get it bang up. The Garmin products are to designed and engineered to get bang up and beat up and still function has it was intended too.

I owned a Fitbit for many years. I lost my last one, a Fitbit Luxe. I started to research what type of new smartwatch I wanted. After numerous reviews and searching, I end up getting this Garmin Venu SQ Music edition. It took me a little while to get used to a new brand and its features but the longer I have it the more I enjoy it. I can do so many things with it. Plus it does a lot of tracking of different activities, personal goals, etc. I've owned my Garmin for about a month or so. Hopefully it will continue to serve me well!

I got this a little late in training to prepare for the Marine Corps Marathon, but I am still very glad I did. I was able to pull in music from YouTube music after watching a video to do so. The idea was being able to leave my phone, which I was able to do. I was able to load up over (4) hrs of music. One feature which I wasn't aware of, was the estimated water loss. I found this useful. For slower runners, beware, while playing music, the battery can go pretty quick, so run faster. I believe I was able to get a consecutive (5) hrs of music and data-logging time.

My favorite wellness tracker! Initially I had considered purchasing an Apple watch, but after discussing the Garmin Venu Sq versus the latest Apple watch with my friends (who have both), one of my biggest selling points was the battery life. Apparently you have to charge the Apple Watch everyday, while the Garmin Venu Sq Music has been proven to last 6 WHOLE DAYS and only needing an hour or 2 to charge fully! I also love this Garmin Venu Sq Music due to its accuracy with measurements. It reminds me to keep calm, allowing me to take meditative breaks during the day, and tracks all of my other vitals very well. I'm a very active person, and having this watch with me allows me to track my progress. I love how the watch automatically celebrates breaking new goals, reminds me to get up and move (as I have a desk job) and is at an affordable price point. If you're looking for the ultimate fitness buddy and don't want to break the bank, this is the watch for you!

Garmin venue sq music has many features. I find it a bit complicated and have yet to be able to fully appreciate all options, as I do not clearly understand how to use. In time, hopefully soon, I hope to appreciate full use and to know that it is working properly. I find it seems to track steps more accurately than two other smartwatch brands I've had. The large face is very nice and bright.
