Engineered for endurance with a fiber-reinforced polymer case, chemically strengthened, scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Power Glass lens and a battery powered by the sun creates a device that's built to endure. Designed to be daring: Subdued color, high contrast displays, and purpose-built design bring to life a non-traditional smartwatch that can follow wherever the mission takes you. Solar battery is variable based on sun-exposure; Instinct can provide unprecedented battery life to those that explore under the sun. Instinct is built to the U.S. military standard 810 for thermal, shock and water resistance and is rated to 330' (100m). Power Manger: View how various settings and sensors impact your watch's battery life, so you can make battery-extending changes on the fly.
Night Vision Compatibility: Switch between daytime view and nighttime view with a screen designed to be read by night vision goggles. Stealth Mode: Go dark by enabling stealth mode to stop storing and sharing your GPS position and disable wireless connectivity and communication. Dual Format GPS: Dual-format GPS coordinates with latitude and longitude references offer unparalleled situational awareness. Projected Waypoints: Always know the way back - create a waypoint to mark the location of your vehicle before you start your trip. Jumpmaster Mode: Calculate high-altitude release points according to military guidelines while navigating to your objective once you've jumped. Sports APPS: Use preloaded activity profiles for surfing, swimming, running, biking, hiking, rowing, strength and more. Wrist-Based Heart Rate: Get heart rate data along with alerts if your heart rate stays too high or too low while you're at rest. Gauge how hard your heart is working during activities, even underwater. Pulse OX: For altitude acclimation or sleep monitoring, a Pulse Ox sensor uses light beams at your wrist to gauge how well your body is absorbing oxygen. Stress Tracking: Heart rate variability is used to calculate your stress level score, so you can see if you're having a calm, balanced or stressful day. Body Battery Energy Monitor: Optimize your body's energy reserves, using heart rate variability, stress, sleep, and other data to gauge when you're ready to be active or when you may need to rest.

The Garmin Instinct Solar - Tactical Edition GPS Smart Watch comes standard with a silicone rubber wrist band, measures 1.77" x 1.77" x 06" (45mm x 45mm x 15.3mm), with a display size of 0.9" x 0.9" (23mm x 23mm) and weighs 1.87 oz. (53 g). Watch has a memory/history capacity of 16MB, the display is a monochrome, sunlight-visible, transflective memory-in-pixel (MIP) type with a display resolution of 128 x 128 pixels. Included with the watch are charging/data cable and owner's manual.
