Like the accu accuracy. Instructions not user friendly (maybe I'm not smart enough user). Strength program not helpful to me. Previous smart watch more friendly for strength results. I'll keep using, maybe even get smarter.:-)

I like the fact that it only has to be charged every 28 days. This was a big factor in my purchase.

I changed from Fitbit charge 2 to Garmin 16 days ago. The first day I was skeptical if the Instinct 2 was going to be right for me, but now that I've learned the basics I love it! It keeps me motivated to continue moving and the app gives just what I need to work towards a healthier me! Every couple days I discover one more thing about the Garmin that reassures me I made the right choice! I used Fitbit for years and always wondered how accurate the step count was. After getting my Garmin, it confirms my skepticism. When mowing the yard on my zero turn, the Fitbit showed I had 15,000 steps while riding. The Garmin shows none! Thank you Garmin for a great product!

This is my third instinct the original lasted a year. The instinct 2 last about the same. Had the send it in for repair. After almost 3 months got a new one shipped to Me after emails. Think it was lost in the system. Like the features. Hope this one last hate being without it.

I've wanted to get a Garmin watch for some time. I saw the Instinct 2, liked the features and it was in my price range.

Bought the instinct 2 after buying my wife the vivoative 5. It's my first time getting into smartwatches. My wife had a Fitbit which broke after 6 months. We are both so pleased with these two acquisitions; they both fit our personalities and lifestyles. I even went and bought the weight scale to try and lose lbs? we're garmin for life.

I've had it for a month now and love the Instinct 2 so much better than the competitors, and all their faces and and bells and whistles, this thing has everything you want with out all the fluff I give it 10/10

I had a iwatch 7 and I probably expected something it wants to be but is not. I did not like how it feels on a hand, bumpy design. I really hate touch screen and greasy fingerprints on it, hate daily routing recharging it. Basically it is a show off device which I do not need. My choice fell upon instinct 2 without solar. I absolutely love its functionality, it had all I need. Start excercise? Press button 3 times (you will not miss time screen buttons, no need to scroll and do extra moves). It knows when I wake up and go to bed just like apple product. I can disable alarm and hourly chime with 3 clicks. Interface and UX was done by real pro and I love it. Everything is easy to find and is easy to use. Barometer in iwatch? Never heard of it? Here you go, garmin gives it to you for less money :) Display is not colored but who cares? I need it functional. 27 days on a single charge, can you imagine it apple? Probably not cause you died 26 days ago :) It gives an impression of powerful device nevertheless. Compass is very responsive, pulse display is almost immediate. Probably regret for buying simplest version and not 2x but still love the device. I realize some like it and some hate it.

Bought this to replace my Forerunner. Love the additional features and data display flexibility. Sale price made this purchase a great value

Upgraded from the solar instinct, we can now put an activity on pause, and start a new activity. Thank goodness! We need that!

Bought a few weeks ago and I'm impressed with the many features of the watch, connects to my Varia radar easily and the display is great in the sun. The sleep data feature has its issues but otherwise I love this watch.

Switched from an Apple Watch as I was tired of the lack of battery life. Pretty happy with what I got. Pros was a better HR tracking, battery life and some of the garmin recovery features are pretty cool. Downsides, the obvious - screen isn't as pretty and no apple pay. The only thing I'm not happy about is the weather. It really has a poor algorithm on where to get weather. Have to use the GPS and then it uses that as your location so if you go for a hike in the mountains... well your weather will be wrong for days (until it just stops working waiting for another GPS location).

Overall it works great. I'm still trying to learn the buttons since the face isn't interactive (I've been spoiled by other watches)

The best watch is now and I've used several smartwatches, but this is the best of all with its long battery life and all the sensors it uses and accuracy.

I've been very happy with my watch so far. I'm not very tech savvy, so I called customer support. After a 30 minute fight with th BS computer answering stuff. I got to talk to Liz. Holy crap what an angel she walked me through my issues and gave me information on how to get help if I needed it again. Dave

This is precisely the watch that I was looking for. I hate smartwatches in general for the part that how they look since 'computer on wrist' is not a look that I am into, considering my love for classic watches and G-Shocks for sports. I was looking for a watch that looks minimalist but packed with health and performance monitoring features and finally someone listened. This watch does everything that I need as an outdoor guy, has a classic sports watch look and for $199 on a discount is just the cherry on top!!

My first instinct 2 smart watch failed after a while. I contacted Garmin directly and they sent a replacement for no charge. The first watch I had would charge and last about 20 days. This new one has obviously had an upgrade because once charged it will stay charged for at least 30 days. Still able to track my steps, bicycling, sleep, calories, fitness age, etc. Love this watch!!

The watch has the features I was looking for and performs well. The only problem I have is how small the text is especially when I receive a text message. I have a medical device that sends me readings and alarms via my phone and watch. The small text Makes it difficult for me to see my readings. I've tried to follow some self help videos but they are far too advanced for me.

I purchased this watch to help keep me accountable for swimming and weight workouts. The Pulse Ox feature and heart rate are fantastic. Battery life is amazing compared to the fruit company watch.

I just started running and I also cycle. I wanted something I could wear daily in the oilfields that could track my all my fitness activities without needing the advanced running features the Forerunners have. Ialso gave my Apple Watch to my wife. Daily charging sucks, this one lasts me a week between charges!

I have always found it difficult to stay motivated and consistent with training. Turns out Garmin was the perfect solution for me. I had Vivomove 3 for a year and recently upgraded to Instinct 2. I am now highly motivated to train and lost over 20 kg since. Thank you!
