I love the watch. It's Comfortable and lightweight. My only issue with the watch is the black housing shows scratches. It would be better if it was a chrome finish or a hard plastic protective cover.

This is my second fenix. I tested the 47mm when I bought the 6 so I knew the 8 would work. (I taped a 47mm piece of paper to my wrist for days to see if I could live with the size.) The 51mm would be so big for me that I wouldn't be able to keep it in place. If your wrist is smaller than mine you'll have the same problem with the 51mm and the 47mm. I'm tall. I have larger wrists than most women. I liked the 6. I wore it everyday for 2 years. But the 8 has a touch screen. What a difference. I like map when I travel. (It is surprising how easily I can get lost in a country where I don't speak the language.) I wear mine all the time, work, exercise, travel, diving. Just a word of advice: The Sapphire will still look new after 2 years of daily wear. The band can always be replaced if you bang it up as I did. I definitely recommend this watch.

Great watch and all but I especially want to thank Adorama customer services. Although the watch was missing during delivery, customer service was so considerate to rush the delivery to replace the missing order. Thank you to Vanessa, Josh and Brie for taking really good care of me! You can get this watch anywhere, but I always come back to Adorama for awesome service.

Let me put it to you like this?.. I had a nice Garmin fitness watch prior this one?. It was a little dated, but worked flawlessly?. I was very careless & cracked the very durable glass?. But this Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar?. I couldn't be more pleased?. Catch it on sale & you will probably not be disappointed?. Until then?.. just be content with being envious of those that warranted it!

I Read so many reviews on the solar and how it was not worth the extra money. Well I have come to realize that those people are probably inside a lot during the day. I am a wildland firefighter and even on my days off I'm outside hiking or camping. What I have noticed is during a long shift or in direct sunlight the battery percentage will not drop even 1% during the direct sunlight. If you spend most of your day Inside then I would say the solar is not a good option however for someone like me it was well worth the money

I don't have to charge this every night. Charging the watch just once a week to be sage.

I really enjoy the F?nix 7 Sapphire. The battery last me a week if I am running every day and doing other activities, other wise the battery lasts me closer to 2 weeks. I work on a yacht and always knocking into things but the glass doesnt have any scratches and if it was a different watch it might have be broken by now. Inturms of activites and widgets, its really good they have almost every sport and the face can be chagned to anything you want it to be

I bought this watch with hopes to watch for barometric changes and for HRV and other health features. I am so glad I did. I am obsessed with it and keep finding more and more things that can help me.

I've had four different brands of health and smart watches and the Garmin Fenix has outdone them all. For my use, I won't be checking email or searching online, but I want to know that the device has pinpoint accuracy, a long battery life, provides a wealth of health data and still gets notifications for the things that matter to me. Combining excellent workmanship, materials and technology, the Garmin Fenix is all of that and offers room to adapt to each individuals needs.

This is my second Garmin watch, an upgrade from the Venu 2, and I'm absolutely loving it. Whether I'm into water sports or trail running, it effortlessly provides me with ample data for all my activities. Plus, it's fantastic for everyday wear. If you're seeking the pinnacle of GPS watches, look no further than the Garmin Fenix 7 Pro Solar. Renowned for its outstanding performance in daily activities, this robust device shines even in rugged environments and during prolonged excursions.

Chose it over the Epix for the always on display, wanted to avoid having to raise my wrist to turn on the display. Is surprisingly intuitive to get the hang of. Read some reviews about the display being tough to read due to glare while indoors and the sapphire solar, dont find it to be an issue for me - durability for the win. Its a remarkable device that has a lot of features. Main drivers for me were battery life, durability, and functionality. Wanted a fitness tracker with segment tracking capabilities, bluetooth broadcasting, phone notifications (would be nice to text back or take a call in a pinch but not a deal breaker) and also golf gps. So far it checks all the boxes for me - impressive device for sure.

Upgraded recently and love this watch. It's lighter than the Fenix 6, and the solar does add some extra life so overall I'm very pleased with the Fenix 7
