I bought the watch a month ago and love how I can run without my phone and listen to music. I also love how you can input upcoming races and the watch will suggest workouts. They have been very helpful. Finally, I love the flash light more than I ever thought I would.

Such a great watch. I struggled to either get this one or an Apple Watch. I am an everyday runner which led me to go with Garmin because of it focus on running. It did not disappoint. So glad I made the choice to go with the fenix. Awesome capabilities, and great battery life

The watch is lightweight and loaded with features. It does what a Whoop would do without the $30 dollar a month price tag. I wear it all the time and hardly notice it's there.

I purchased my Fenix 7 Pro Solar around a month ago. It's amazing. Provides me with more than I was asking for to help me improve me. I changed my diet over 3 months ago due to health concerns. I was using my Garmin Instinct 2S Solar at first with the Garmin Connect app and saw the changes as well as could feel them. But I wanted to be able to do and see more. So I upgraded to the Fenix 7 Pro Solar. The new stats I can view and track from my wrist are awesome. It gives me a sense of how to push myself without over doing it. My fitness has improved significantly because I'm understanding more about my needs. When to rest. When to do low aerobic. When to do high aerobic. Anaerobic training. It's so helpful. My motivation has gone up too. The sports and activities I participate in are running, trail running, hiking, rock climbing indoor and outdoor, boxing, cycling, kayaking, fishing, lots of early morning treadmill running, weight lifting, swimming and soon my first triathlon. My average battery life is 18 days due to indoor activities. Which is still awesome. Oh lastly, the flashlight on this is such a life saver. I had no idea I'd use it as much as I do.

I've had this watch for about 4 weeks and love it. The features are numerous and in depth, and I can save and download health reports as pdf which is neat. Only confusing part has been using the maps, which I'd put at 50/50 user learning and less intuitive UI, but figuring it out more. I use the flashlight every day taking my dog out, or finding things at night. The default positioning of the band buckle has lead to some pain in my left wrist but I'm reversing the bands so it sits differently on the nerve/bone and it's helped. I would like a cleaner UI for the garmin phone apps, and if they could be merged into just one app. That's the only tedious part

I love the LED light, I use it almost every night, also, I used it during a run that I calculated wrong and I ended up running on the dark, very helpful during checkout at the restaurants/bars

The fenix 7 pro solar edition is the best piece of gear I've ever owned. Thus thing has it all! And the no-connection needed to operate GPS for when my girlfriend and I get lost on a hike or to find new cool points-of-interest, just sends it over the top for me. The one thing I truly wish it had was an AMOLED screen. That's its one and only weak point I feel but everything else makes up for it in a big way. This watch made me fall in love with everything Garmin.

Traded my 955 Solar for 7x Solar and then again for the 7 Pro because it has all the features of 7X I need and most importantly, has ecg function, which I needed for med reasons. Only thing it's missing is cellular option so I can ditch my phone on runs and hikes

So I come from having quite a few smart watches. My last one prior to the fenix was the fitbit sense, prior to that was a suunto, prior to that was an amazfit device. I like the "outdoor" elements this watch provides, namely the ability to use with my alpha 300i and my Echomap 106SV. The ecosystem integrations are critical for my using a garmin device. There seem to be many unique features to Garmin's watch ecosystem which take some getting used to, but overall I think this is the best device I've had so far. I like the battery life, but it's large. I like the solar charging and tracking sun exposure. I like the aftermarket strap, plug cover, screen protector ecosystem. I like the ECG feature - seems WAYYY better than the fitbit version. I also really like the flashlight - it's supremely handy. Durability seems to be there, but time will tell. So far, I think it's a keeper!

I got this to replace my Instinct 2X because I simply wanted the touch screen and capability that the Fenix series brings. Everyone says the sapphire is better cause it is stronger but I have a $6 screen protector on mine and it has been amazing. It is helping me beyond measure in my Marathon training. GO FOR IT!!

I have had the Apple Watch since they came out but they are just not rugged enough anymore for what I use it for and the battery life is horrible so I decided to try out the Fenix 7pro solar when it was on sale over the holidays. This watch does not disappoint. The battery life is amazing, I've literally only had to charge it twice and the first time was the day I got it. The features it has are far superior to the Apple Watch and doesn't make me feel like I'm carrying another phone on my wrist but instead basically a multi tool. Well done Garmin!

I am an endurance athlete and love the versatility of everything this watch does. I don't have to charge it but only once a week and that's after doing 10-15 activities during that time.

I upgraded from fenix 5 so the amount of information this watch is giving me is amazing. I haven't delved into allot of the goodies this thing has yet. Primarily using it for running, working out, sleep recovery, and archery. I hope I get as much love from this thing as I did from my fenix 5.

Watch is okay, but have to upload owners manual to figure out how to add glances and then which 4 buttons to utilize to open glances. Like the heart rate to look for arrhythmias and the solar feature to use, when it is clear and sunny to charge watch battery. Just started with sleep glance to see what happens when I sleep as have sleep apnea.

I never thought I'd use the flashlight so frequently; it's officially retired my smartphone's! I bought the watch a few months ago and use it 5-6 days a week during my 2-2.5 hour CrossFit sessions, which include endurance, weightlifting, accessories, and more. Basically, I copy the cardio feature and personalize a CrossFit activity for each session. My only doubt is that my previous Garmin Forerunner 255 seemed to track way more high-intensity minutes and overall load during CrossFit. The Fenix gets lower numbers, maybe because its sensors are better and provide more accurate data? I'm not sure, but I hope someone can offer some insight in the comments! I also use the Fenix for Sunday road cycling, pairing my Garmin Edge 130 Plus as an extended display. I've even linked the speed, cadence sensors, and HR monitor from the Edge to the Fenix, giving me way more data than before when I only used the Edge Plus. Overall, it's an expensive watch, but I love the data it collects, and the Garmin Connect app is my daily companion. I snagged a great discount on Black Friday and even managed to sell my Forerunner 255 locally, making the upgrade to the Fenix even sweeter. I hope this is helpful for someone else.
