I?ve had my Garmin Fénix 6x Pro Solar for a little over a year now. It has replaced every watch in my case, including my Apple Watch. The features, functionality, style, and battery life are all so amazing. It looks great and works perfectly under the harshest of conditions.

Dude I love apple products but this is my forever smart watch. Size is right for us big guys, it tracks everything! I?ve started walking each day an ld even registered for a 5k. Just so I can see my progress on the watch and the app. Motivated and thankful I bought this.

It is a good watch. I wish the solar actually charged the battery verses slow down the depletion of the battery. I had the instinct before this one and it would stay charged which was really good for me working outside all the time. I do understand that there is a lot more going on with this watch then the instinct. The maps are handy, I was on a hiking trip and fog moved in when we were on the mountain and I had to navigate the cliff face with my watch because I couldn?t see the edge with my sight. The TOPO came in handy and it also came into play when I was mountain biking and I lost the trail and was able to pick it up with the maps. The Garmin coach is another cool feature for running, I am in the middle of a half marathon training session and it has help regulate me better so that I don?t injure myself. Health feature I would say are pretty good for what you have on your wrist. Over all good watch bit pricey but I do understand why the high price tag. If you can learn to use it as an every day tool in the backcountry or in the gym you can get your moneys worth out of it.

I bought this over a month ago, use it every day for basic steps and to keep up with my health, sleep quality and fitness. All around great smartwatch used for a specific purpose, bit expensive but it's very well made. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fitness or health tracker.

I'm replacing a seven year old Garmin 920xt and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The battery life is outstanding. I love being able to listen to music or Podcasts without having my phone nearby.

I bought this watch several months ago. The two biggest reason I bought is was for the hiking and golf features. This watch is great for both. For hiking I also purchased the 24k Topo maps which provide very detail views when I am hiking. The tracking is great to allow you to find the your way back easily if you are not on well marked trails. Highly recommend both for the serious hiker. I also really like the different displays you can view while hiking such as ascent/descent amounts. For golf, it does a very good job of keeping track of the shots and where you are at. I have used competitor range finders and what is great about this watch is the number of preloaded courses. I have yet to find a course that is missing. When you use the watch in conjunction with the Garmin Connect app you get very detailed information for both. I highly recommend this watch.

I used the Fenix 6x pro solar on a trip to Baxter state park in Maine it tracked all of my hiking trips step by step including elevation heart rate and full mapping of all the trails it was so easy to use. The battery life was amazing didn't have to recharge with very little sun on the trails. I highly recommend it. Yes the price is up there but no regrets. E

I have owned Samsung smartwatches, I've seen Apple and fit bit smart watch...never thought I would own Garmin, WOW!!! It's the most accurate smartwatch, some people prefer touch screens, I believe Garmin needs to stay touch less...just because of its ruggedness and quality...Garmin fenix 6 line of watches will last you years and are worth every penny...

I got my watch couple weeks ago and i take some time before i share my expirience. I normally work 18 hours a day i be on track and don need to be checking if i have battery is amazing plus the quality of the band (you may have to clean it every day after outdoors training or a raining day) Excelent suppor from the app and the desing is pretty nice for a every day watch for people that never stop

I brought my entire family out to the Sahara desert for an educational trip and I was confident in my Fenix 6x pro solar to navigate us so we had a guide drive us as far as his Jeep would allow him to go with just enough gas to return to the village ....well the watch cannot run on solar alone ,so with the navigation on my watch died in 3 hours leaving us wandering In circles after my wife and kids convinced me to swim in a pool that was a mirage we were thankful for nightfall my two kids were killed by coyotes and my wife is still missing but I still have the watch

I bought the Fenix 6X Pro Solar 20 days ago, and it is working great. Awesome battery life enhanced worth solar charging. Tracking all health stats and training status. This watch combined with the HRM Pro, Index S2, and RD POD show an amazing and fascinating view in the Garmin Connect app. Very happy with all of these.

Great product. I have had my Solar Fenix 6 for over a year, ended up scratching the face. Garmin?s no hassle easy exchange policy made it easy and a great experience to return the damaged face for a new Fenix 6.

I have only had the watch for 2 weeks and haven't taken a hike yet. One thing I would like to see or get instructions too would be a tutorial from Garmin and not others that tend to go too fast with there descriptions on how too sent up and perform different functions. Like I said maybe I missed something and it is out there as this watch does so many different things. Looking forward to my second review later on when I become more familiar with the watch. Nothing negative hear.

I bought this about a week ago and so far I am happy, there were several key features I wanted and I have been able to figure those out pretty quickly. I am a little disappointed that it is not touch screen but that is just something I need to get use to. Solid watch was it worth a grand maybe maybe not only time will tell.

You have probably read all the good things about this watch, so I will write just the few uncommon things I like or dislike about it. It has awesome tracking in field and a fast GPS lock-in thanks to Garmin experience in tech. You can install your own maps with trails and navigation. The sensors on the watch are really good (for my needs) and I had no issue with them. Software updates are frequent an generally improve the experience. The support team is prompt and very welcoming. You can program this watch to create your own applications and fully customize the watch faces and activities. The battery-life is awesome (at first) especially if you follow the Garmin guide to optimize it. It is important to switch off the Ox sensor, until you really need it: e.g. to monitor sleep, breathing, or acclimatization at high altitudes. Another trick is to limit the GPS or the backlight. After a year you may experience a battery burn out. Higher battery capacities do not mean higher quality and life-length. Replacements can be found on eBay. I highly recommend contacting Garmin support, first. The charging port will corrode, so make sure to keep it dry especially when charging. Use Garmin charge plug is possible. The "gold-platted" chargers available on eBay or Amazon are not really "gold-platted" and can create a galvanic reaction the will speed up the corrosion. The bromide DLC (or "diamond" like) coating is not as good as advertised. The gray on black scratch-marks are very visible especially with titanium. IMHO: The thin dark DLC is an anti-feature. The titanium is not worth the few grams of weight. It is a soft and an easy to scratch metal when compared to steel. Go with steel if possible. The solar is a cool gadget. I would choose it for the extra sensor to monitor sun exposure. It is less useful to charge the watch. Garmin should use it for other purposes like: e.g. determining if backlight is needed or if the person is sleeping. I highly recommend to add a poly-carbonate case and a "tampered" glass cover if you go outdoors or ride a bike. The 6X is bulky and will get in a way sometimes.

Product quality Model: light weight and luxury, you can ware it all day and sleep with it. It's look luxury for men to ware it during formal event. the sensor work better than 5x model, I was using 5x but it was burn my wrist. The screen is big which I love it, but if you wrist is small may be other series should be considered. Data analysis No worry for the data analysis in detail, plenty of information from bed until all day activities. Price: Slightly costly. but compensated by product quality. If budget is not your concern just take it.
