The design makes the use of the snorkle feel natural. It is not in the way of my other gear and is easy to get in and out of my mouth.

It will keep you from sucking in water for sure...but, if your still trying to suck in air and the water is gone...your still not getting anything. Is it bad..not really..it just has more FEATURES than I want in a breathing tube.

I'm not much of a snorkel guy. For most of what I do it is just another thing to get tangled. How ever when helping new open water students it is a requirement. So putting it simply if your going to use a snorkel use a good one. This one works well. Easy to clear as it is almost completely dry.

Great Snorkel. I have yet to see a snorkel that is 100% Dry, but this one does a great job. If you are new to using a snorkel get qualified instrction and paractice in water shallow enough to stand up if you have trouble.Always swim with a buddy.

We used these for a few snorkeling trips and loved them. They always stayed clear and were easy to use. The fit was perfect. My younger sons and my husband also used the snorkel and loved it.

Enough said. The keeper is useless. Hardly takes a touch to break the keepers swivel.

My first "dry" snorkel and I am impressed. It actually works very well. Breathes easy and is easy to purge. Purchased at salespersons recommendation, and I am pleased with it. I bought 4 more for family. Only negative is it feels slightly heavier and more bulky than other purge-only snorkels. Trade off. I very much like these and recommend this type snorkel, although I don't believe this specific snorkel is really any better than another of same design. Purchase by what's on sale.

Really does stay dry. Slightly disconcerting when valve closes and blocks air, requires an exhaie to open. Otherwise, great value. Best snorkel I've used. Recommended by sales person, and I agreed to try. I would not buy for [$], but great value for minimal price.

I have tried other more expensive dry snorkles and I come back to this one everytime. They have a large breathing tube, dont take in water above or below the surface, and just plain work. The quick release snorkle keeper feature is great. I bought them for my whole family.

I have been using this daily for two weeks while on vacation. The mouthpiece is too big for a girls mouth, the slightest waves either restrict airflow or let water in b/c it doesn't sit high enough out of the water, and the there is always water in the mouth piece so I have to stop and clear it out about every 2 minutes, it's hard to purge it. I won't buy it again, I will go back to a scubamax one that my husband stole from me b/c he liked it so well.

Nice Snorkel. Stays dry when you dive down and purges fine too. I have to agree with the other review and say that it doesn't stick high enough out of the water making it easy to dip under water when a wave comes or your face goes too low. Other than that, it is a great snorkel especially for the super cheap price. If I wanted another dry snorkel, I would but this again, but I feel that dry snorkels are a waste for scuba diving. A conventional one works just fine.

End of snorkel curls around head. It is not high enough out of water and therefore takes on water in moderate seas unless head if facing straight down.

I'm buying my second because it is a great overall snorkel and I would like to have another as a spare. It's easily worth over $40, so even with shipping costs this snorkel is a steal!

It works just fine as a snorkel. It does take a little getting used to. The only problem is the purge valve doesn't quite get all the water out, and you are left with some gurgling in the bottom of the snorkel.

Its as good as more expensive snorkels.If you are like me and break or lose your snorkel all the time then it doesnt make sense to pay [$] for one.Bottom line is this snorkel works fine and is priced right so I bought 3

I bought this as my first dry snorkel. It hasnt let me down yet, it's never let in water and every time i submerge and recover to the surface it hasnt let in one ounce of water. I use it often as I can spearfishing a few days a week. Overall great product.

THIS IS A GREAT SNORKEL IF YOU ARE SWIMMING IN WAVES. IT DOESN'T ALLOW WATER IN AND WORKS GREAT.

It works as advertised. Although on occasion you have to pinch the clear hose to vent the water that accumulates in the bottom by the purge valve.

Hey it is a snorkel. It stays pretty dry and clears easily. As a note since it has a purge valve, sometimes you have to pinch the hose to get it to clear properly. No different than any other "dry" snork.
