Genesis Odyssey BCD with Prana Regulator, Octo and 3 Gauge Console

- Genesis Odyssey Back Inflation BCD -

The Genesis Odyssey BCD is the perfect complement to the Award-Winning Genesis Origin. This is a back inflation model with similar weight system, features, and functionality to the Origin (see SKU: GNSO). Lightweight and ergonomic, the Genesis Odyssey has all the functions and features you are looking for in a back inflation BCD. The easy to access quick release ditchable weight pockets hold up to 10 lbs. (4.54kg) of weight each along with two 5 lbs. (2.27kg) trim weight pockets. The back inflation air-cell is low-profile, easily expands and contracts with the assistance of an air-cell bungee cord. In addition, this BC is Pro-Kit fit ready (see SKU's: GNSBPKL, GNSBPKM) and has two expandable zipper pockets.

Built-to-Last: 600D polyester with PVC backing and a 420D nylon urethane laminated radio frequency (RF) welded air-cell for years of reliable use. Buoyancy control is made easy with the Genesis power inflator mechanism with cable activated pull dump at the left shoulder and a pull dump valve on right shoulder. The BCD is also equipped with a lower rear right pull dump/overpressure relief valve with manual pull for trimming of buoyancy when you are inverted in the water. The Genesis power inflator comes with a 3/8" threaded quick-disconnect low-pressure hose.

Making the proper fit is easy with the BCD harness assembly consists of swivel buckle torso adjustable shoulder straps with an adjustable sternum strap and adjustable waist strap with cummerbund. All strap buckles are squeeze-style side-release buckles for easy donning and doffing. For added comfort the Genesis Odyssey BCD has air mesh back padding. Accessory storage and attachment are made easy with the two easy access zippered pockets and multiple D-rings and buckles. The cylinder attachment is accommodated with the cam band assembly. The BCD's lift capacities are 25 lbs. (11.3kg) in sizes XS, SM and MD and is 36 lbs. (16.3kg) in sizes LG and XL. BCD comes with an owner's manual.

Building on the tradition of the GS2000, it offers excellent breathing performance, durability, longevity, and style. The first stage features a dry environmentally sealed flow-by piston with patented Dry Air Demand (DAD) technology, ensuring peak performance in all diving conditions. The balanced second stage ensures smooth breathing regardless of depth or tank pressure.

The innovative Genesis first stage regulator incorporates DAD, a unique flow-by piston design that mechanically balances air, delivering exceptional breathing characteristics at both full and low cylinder pressures. Made from marine-grade chrome-plated brass, this first stage regulator is durable and features a fail-safe mechanism with a patented dry seal internal mechanism to keep components clean and contamination-free in any diving environment.

The DAD function increases the regulator's intermediate pressure without requiring oils or grease, keeping the regulator virtually free from salt, sand, or chlorine contamination. Preferred by repair technicians, it includes two high-pressure ports and four low-pressure ports for gauges and accessories. The tee-shaped design minimizes contact with the back of the head and features a high-capacity inlet filter for smooth air delivery to the second stage.

The Genesis Prana Balance 2nd Stage delivers effortless breathing with a pre-dive/dive switch to eliminate sensitivity in challenging conditions while maintaining high performance. Its durable, non-corrosive plastic housing and precise single valve tube construction ensure reliability. The adjustable breathing resistance and unique second stage adjustment knob provide smooth, easy breathing throughout your dive. The orthodontic mouthpiece offers comfort and reduces jaw fatigue. - Genesis Prana Octo -

The Genesis Prana Octopus is rugged, dependable, and affordable. The Prana Octopus is engineered to provide you with the same outstanding reliability as your primary regulator. The compact, low profile Prana is made with durable, lightweight plastic material for a less cumbersome dive. The sleek, simple structure is easy to clean and maintain, giving outstanding performance.

For easy identification, this octopus has bright, highly visible yellow soft purge cover. The Prana Octopus come equipped with an extra-long, LP hose with standard 3/8" threads. The Octopus is built-to-last with a silicone mouthpiece, diaphragm and exhaust valve. The valve mechanism is a dependable downstream demand valve with a resilient poppet seat. Injection molded thermoplastic rubber seat is harder than silicone seats and maintains its shape and does not coin as deeply. Breathing resistance is adjustable for optimal resistance. Its pre-dive/dive switch eliminates sensitivity when swimming through surf, jumping off the side of the boat, or fining in a current, yet allows high performance breathing when needed.

- Genesis 3 Gauge In-Line Console -

The Genesis 3-Gauge In-Line Console is enclosed in a sleek and compact impact resistant proprietary rubber blend for durability and flexibility console boot with multiple attachment points built into the boot for clips or lanyards. The console consists of the Genesis Pressure, Depth Gauge and Compass modules. Both the pressure and depth gauges have an all brass case and a 1.75" (44.5mm) diameter with easy to read numbers and color scale with glow in the dark background. The pressure gauge comes equipped with a 7/16" threaded high pressure hose for attachment to your first stage regulator.

The Genesis Pressure gauge comes standard with dual scale (PSI/BAR). Up to 5000 psi/350 bar. Enclosed in a small diameter case, helping to reduce bulk and weight. Available as a single pressure gauge with console and hose or single pressure gauge for replacement. The gauge face is color coded for at-a-glance gas monitoring. The section from 0 to 500 psi (0 to 34.5 bars) is bright red for reserve air warning and bright yellow up to 1000 psi (70 bars) for extended reserve when deep diving. The gauge face is color coded in green from 1000 psi (70 bars) to full scale 5000 psi (350 bars).

The Genesis Depth gauge come standard with dual scale (Feet/Meters). Up to 200' (60m). Like the pressure gauge the depth gauge is enclosed in a small diameter case, helping to reduce bulk and weight. A manual reset maximum depth indicator (MDI). The MDI needle which will mark your deepest depth reached on a dive. This feature is helpful when logging dive information providing key information for repetitive dives. The depth gauge face like the pressure gauge is also color coded for at-a-glance depth monitoring.

The gauge face is color coded green from 0' to 30' (0m to 9m) for indication of decompression and safety stops. The depth gauge face is color coded yellow from 30' to 130' to indicate the full scale of sport diving limits and from depths of 130' to 200' (40m to 60m) the gauge is color coded in red to indicate depths beyond the sport diving limits.

The Genesis Compass is liquid filled for a quick and responsive movement. A ratchet bezel with compass headings in 30 Degree numbered increments and indicator marks for every 10 Degree . Bezel has twin heading indicators for alignment of compass course and a lubber line across the compass face. A side window with compass degrees allows gun-sight accurate use when precise headings are required. Compass card is luminescent for low light conditions.
