I bought my Yeti 200x some time ago. It was for more support from my Yeti150 that I have had and used for ever. The Yeti 200x is simple to use, easy to pack when going on an adventure in your ride. One thing I do is while I am traveling, I keep it plugged into the vehicle. When I reach camp, I have a full Yeti unit that I plug lights, cell phone, computer, tent lights and have my own power while recharging during the day with a Boulder 50watt. If you have not tried a Yeti unit, you must because it sells itself. Great job Goal Zero. Oh, by the way I am a river guide, and I take Goal Zero with me every trip.

Arrived exactly as described: wasn't in the original packaging, but all accessories and the Yeti itself arrived and are fully functional. Glad to have a smaller Yeti than my current one for lighter traveling

Not a powerhouse or light enough for backpacking, but at 5 lbs. good for road trips in my small SUV. Overnight charge on a cell phone took it down 20%. 100 watt panel fully charges it in one day winter sunshine. Not enough to run a hot pad. Will run a small fridge, but not for that long. It will keep my laptop going for several hours after the battery runs dead. Very nice for Astronomy nights and movies on the computer in camp. Everything I have bought from Goal Zero is top quality, never a problem. Open Box Rules!

I own a mobile performance tuning business tuning certain Toyota/Lexus trucks and I use Goal Zero exclusively for all my power application needs on the road in ensuring my Clients trucks are safely tuned with all the power supply we can provide and GZ does just what I need to meet my power demands. I've had the Goal Zero Yeti 200x for a couple weeks now and it has performed flawlessly as a dedicated back up power unit for my laptop. The GZ Yeti 500x (in use since 09/2021) is great for use on any tune meets ranging from 1 to 15 trucks, whereas the Yeti 1000x (in use since 07/2023) is deployed whenever 16+ trucks in a single day requires service. I love what my GZ power station line up has to offer and know I can count on them. I have the confidence knowing that they will meet or exceed my power needs for all my tune meets. I highly recommend Goal Zero's Yeti 200x and all of their power station options. Regards, AY Tuning LLC

Bought this for emergency backup when there is no available electricity for the families's phones and tablets. It is easy to handle and transport both at home or while traveling. Love it!

I am a Ham radio operator and a professional photographer. I got it for both remote locations in Montana. I used it on location while filming and was able to top off my drones and camera battery rapidly. I did not have the panels hooked up to it but so far, so good.

Powers our lights for 1.5 hours each day giving us around 7 hours +/- of power before we recharge. Im also looking at investing in a larger unit for future use. highly recommended.

The 200X has been a wonderful camping addition! I have been able to get multiple charges of my cellphone and iPad over the course of a few day. Charges easily with the wall outlet or my solar panel

Being an open-box item, I was sort of weary about it but it came packed as if it was brand new and had all the cables/chargers. I did a small trial run at home and seemed to work flawlessly. We used it only once so far for a camp trip and didn't even get it down under 50% after charging 2 phones, a tablet, and some camera batteries. So far it has been great and hope that it will serve us well on our future trips! One small thing that I wish would be a feature on this smaller model is a way to dim or turn off the display but it's nothing that a small piece of tape can't fix.

This battery power source is light weight and super portable. It seemed excessive to have an inverter in such a small unit, kind of an over manufacture and maybe inefficient, but, it's been very convenient to be able to plug in a floor lamp to work in my storage unit. The next size yeti is twice as heavy and not so portable. So far, I haven't tried to run anything that draws more power. For charging a phone or computer, t'm sure it will be just as useful. The convenience is worth the expense.

I bought my first one last year with the solar panel and I loved it!!! It came in in perfect working shape. I used it all the time, unfortunately it got left outside and we got a really bad rain storm. It quit working so, I bought a new one this year just last month and I was not as happy with the second one. I took it out of the box because I was so excited to get my generator and plugged it up. Well it would not charge it constantly said 0% on charge display. I called Goal Zero and the rep told me how to try to reset it but it did not work. So I talked to the company again and they got it set up so I could return the defective product. I waited two weeks and never received anything about the return label or instructions on returning the product. So I called them back and this time I talked to a young lady who instantly emailed me the return label to return the defective unit. So now I am still waiting for the replacement......

I purchased this product to keep my home router working during short commercial power interruptions. The security cameras, computers and telephone are all working though the router, so maintaining a backup power supply is essential. I am vey happy with the 200X and all GOALZERO products. I have also purchased the 3000X for emergency situations where we lose commercial power for extended periods of time.

I cannot wait to use this Yeti 200X. I bought it for camping and have not used it as yet. It is smaller than most coolers I own and will fit in most place i need to use it.

I've owned this for over 2 years now, and generally really like the unit. It's small and has lots of good features. That said, my first unit recently had to be replaced after it stopped accepting a charge. When we reached out to Customer Service, we were asked if we ever leave the unit unused and charging for months at a time, which we had, since that's exactly what the manual recommends for long term storage. We were told that we should be "exercising" the unit regularly, and (incorrectly) told that this was stated in the manual. After looking through the online manual, and only finding info about keeping the unit plugged in and topped off when storing, we pointed this out, at which point the CS rep changed his story and said exercising is just what he tells people to do. The unit was 2 months past the warranty, so we were only offered an open box unit (with only a 6 month warranty), and we would have to pay to ship back the old unit. We decided to return it to REI instead, since this was considered a defect (a $300 PLB should not just stop working after 26 months), and thus could be returned beyond their 1-year Satisfaction Guarantee. Upon replacing the 200X with a new one, I read through the new manual (User Guide) carefully, and it still advises the same thing regarding long term storage. I did some research on my own regarding Lithium Battery care, and it seems like LBs actually prefer to be kept and stored in the middle (~40-60%) of their charge capacity. It should be noted that the 200X/500X booklet (not the manual) that came with our unit does have a Yeti Tips & Tricks page, and in the Keep It Charged section is says to use it regularly to keep the battery in its best working condition, but the manual says nothing of the sort. It's also worth pointing out that the Warranty period is not clear. In the Warranty & Contact section of the manual, it says 180 days for battery cells, and one year for all other GZ products. However, on the very next page there is a a logo that says Warranty, and below it in big bold all caps is "2 YEAR WARRANTY".

I have had the Yeti 200X for several months in anticipation for use in the teardrop trailer I have built. While waiting for the intended purpose, we have used it multiple times to charge phones and laptops just to see how well it works. Absolutely no complaints. While we started out charging it through the AC cord included in the box, I have recently paired it with a Boulder 50. I have charged it with the solar panel ever since. At home I can leave the Boulder 50 in the backyard with the extra-long cable attached to the Yeti 200X under the patio cover. (Be warned - the solar panel frame can get hot in the direct sunlight!) But it charges the power station within a few hours (from 40% existing power). I also leave the panel in the bed of my truck and feed the cord into the cab to charge the battery. During this time the power station has been running reading lights, the overhead light and a roof fan in the cabin while finishing the interior construction. It also powers an overhead light in the galley. I have connections to hook up the Yeti 200X in both the interior cabin and the galley. Either connection powers the entire trailer. We had our first "test" outing over the weekend and it worked exactly as planned. We look forward to many trips with this as our power source for our needs - lights, fan, phone-laptop-camera charging and running the fan for assisted ventilation.

Worked great in the beginning, but the charge now drops really quickly. I used it consistently while over-landing for about a month. I recently used it and the battery charged dropped significantly faster than when i first started using it. Worked great in the beginning, but not super confident about its long term usage?

Works well with plug-in CPAP machine and my laptop. Haven't really used it for extended periods, though, so can't comment on longevity. Does hold its charge well over weeks of non-use. This is a major improvement over my old Yeti 150, which didn't live up to my expectations.

Bought this for the regulated 12 volt power to use with my portable satellite phone setup. The other ports are a bonus. Works great so far keeping me in touch in remote areas. I'm able to charge this with my 100 watt briefcase solar.

I bought the 200x over 6 months ago from REI. I used it to charge batteries, flashlights and a phone. I powered a 20 inch flat screen sony tv for 2 and half hours with 12% power left. the cooling fan was on the whole time and was whisper quiet. it kept the unit very cool and no heat at all. I used a 50 boulder to recharge the 200 in smokey clear skies. I'm in the wine country surounded by the fires so no real bright sun. the 50 boulder charged the 200 from 12% to 88% in 7 hours and toped it of...
