Total crap. I already returned it because it didn't work- right off the bat. The support forum is terrible. Absolutely no help. Don't waste your money.

Zero stars is really the rating!! Thought it would be great to upload dive info on the spot. Have to go to the website for instructions, that are not there. Go to a support forum, that the software shown is ancient. Played around for 30 minutes to find the setting field for the device. Currently have 14 dives on the computer, made it through 3 of them before loosing connection. Tried over 10 times and couldn't get past 12 (as in 14, 13, 12). Times out all the time. What a waste of money!!!!

Bluetooth module has limited software support from 3rd parties. The divePAL software from DiveNav is buggy on Android and PC. Missing tank pressure data, incorrect dates, inability to properly log dive locations etc. Do not recommend. Viewing the same cloud stored dive on the PC and an Android device has different data. Some changes on PC do not sync back to cloud properly.

I use this to transfer dive data from Oceanic dive computers to the Dive Log app on our iOS devices. To me, buying this device over the OEM computer cable was a no-brainer. It's only $10 more, and because it uses bluetooth technology you are not tied in to a specific physical connector. And it works with your mobile devices - how many of us carry a computer around on our dive trips? Great concept and a well-executed product. I only wish it were supported by more dive log software packages, although Dive Log and Dive Pal (the two packages that support it as of this writing) are both very capable log books. My only complaint is that sometimes I have to try 2-3 times before getting it to sync with my ProPlus3. I think the cable doesn't always make a good connection to the dive computer - cleaning it and the computer connector seems to help. I have removed one star from my rating for this minor inconvenience.

Could easily get 5 stars, if you could down load it to something other than Divepal. My brother bought it as a gift and we share it. I was going to spend $80.00 on the Mares USB adapter to download my dives. I'm happy I didn't. This device is awesome. This little guy is easy to use once you download the Divepal App on your phone or tablet. This is the bad part of the review. If you get frustrated working with technical stuff (computer programs) wait till your alone. Getting started is a little bit frustrating, this is due to the Divepal App not the device. If you want to see your computer on the screen you have to buy that image. Its cool though because you can see the computer working as you analize the dive. Then if you dive nitrox you need to buy the nitrox upgrade so $10.00 extra and your set. However it also works fine if you just want raw info, theres a genric computer that does the samething as the upgraded image. The non upgraded divepal App will also allow you analize your dive with what ever info that your computer has. In all the device is ingenious. And the support and customer service is outstanding. Tons of inforation in the edive forum and plenty of videos on you tube.
