I really like the shoe.

I really like the shoe. Have not had a chance to try them too much in the water on slippery rocks. They are so light and comfortable. I did check the box "they run small" because either my feet have grown, or all of your shoes are just a tiny bit small compared to what I used to wear, even in Danner shoes. I used to wear a 8.5 or 9 EE and now it seems I have to get 9.5-10EE to be comfortable. I really like the look, fit, and feel of these shoes though and I've pretty much discontinued other brands of shoes in favor of Danner. To be honest, I usually wait for the sales and then buy as many as I can. I appreciate the quality but I am not always willing to go the list price if $200 or more, though I have made exceptions. looking forward to my next pair of desert boots and also trying the flip flops. Living near and on the beach in FL, I became a full time flip flop wearer and appreciate a good fitting leather insole sandal.

Love them - but too wide, had to return

I love the look & comfort but lack of structure makes them collapse when tied. When I tie them they fold with a crease on the inside of the shoe at the laces on both feet and it looks strange, they are a medium width but my arch just collapses and folds the shoe making them look too big unfortunately. I really wanted to like these!

I wear size 10, bought a 9.5 and they were still too loose to wear. Water shoes need to be tight and made of a material that does not retain water. This has neither.

I use with my paddle board and they are excellent. I don?t get rocks in the shoes as with other water shoes. Fit and comfort are excellent. I am going to be using them at Zion Narrows hike in a couple weeks and will try to update the review but I have no doubt they will be outstanding.

Love comfort fit of these

Love comfort fit of these shoes! I wear them walking my dog as well as in and around the water. Easy to slip on without adjusting the laces. I wear them w/o socks, which is how I assume their intended to be worn. The Vibram bottom really grips well! They seem to dry fast too, which is important if you're going to wear them all day.

I just finished trekking 42 miles on the timberline trail with many rivers to cross. These shoes were amazing for river fording. They are light weight to clip on your pack and give super good toe support in heavy flow rivers.

Land Crafted, River Approved
Danner's first boots may have been built for loggers, but today they make footwear for every challenge the Pacific Northwest or wherever you trek has to offer. The mountains here are home to glacier-fed rivers, lazy streams and crystalline lakes, where having the right gear spells the difference between the adventure of a lifetime and packing it in two days early. Durable and quick-drying, the Rivercomber is built for stream crossings and river floats, canyoneering and Class III rapids. So, you can feel confident putting in and paddling out to parts unknown.

This boot features a knit upper constructed entirely from breathable, abrasion-resistant Cordura. Removable ortholite footbed three layers of varying density are combined for maximum cushioning and support. The entire footbed is made of open-cell polyurethane for better heat dissipation and air circulation. Danner Plygo Midsole is quick-drying construction for wet environments with a drainable, ultra-lightweight EVA midsole for excellent cushioning with optimal weight savings. Vibram Rivercomber outsole is non-marking uses Vibram's Wavegrip technology to direct water away from the foot for ultimate grip on wet surfaces.
