Great product and great customer service. Especially nice to have when you travel to locales where you can't legally transport or possess a dive knife.

Nice to have a simple and safe line cutter! I have used it so many times to cut wrist bands off! Hope I never need it for it?s intended purpose:)

Very compact, well made and sharp. I disassemble it after each dive and dry it thoroughly to prevent rusting.

You can't beat the price of this. tested it out on our dive and it worked great and I had no issues at all. I have to tell you that not only is the shipping unbelievably fast but the customer service is awesome. We added last minute an item I forgot to buy and they were able to add it to the shipment without blinking an eye though they had a lot to do to get it in.

I mounted it to my BCD strap and it looks like it is going to perform well in that capacity. Although fortunately I haven't had to use it in an emergency yet. It looks nice and sleek also and not odd or out of place,

I purchased this cutter specifically to cut fishing line as I have encounterd that in my past dives. I use it where no knives are allowed due to fragile reefs etc... I have used it on several dives and it attaches to the BC via vecro in a nice secure manner. Small enough to keep out of the way on my upper chest area making it easily accessible. I have not had a need to use it but feel confident that it will do the job. Comes with spare blades.

Dive Rite Ceramic Line Cutter.

Great product and great customer service. Especially nice to have when you travel to locales where you can't legally transport or possess a dive knife.
The Dive Rite Line Cutter is the cutting tool that every diver should carry. Sharper than a standard dive knife, the line cutter uses a 420-surgical grade stainless-steel blade that can easily cut-thru-braided line, monofilament, or any other line entanglement. Housed in a heavy-duty fiber reinforced nylon body, the blade is easily removed for cleaning and replacement. The line cutter fits securely into a 4.5 x 2.5" (11.4 x 6.4cm) nylon pouch and uses a hook and loop lanyard to prevent the line cutter from accidentally deploying. The pouch is equipped with 2 hook and loop straps, allowing it to be mounted horizontally or vertically on webbing up to 2" (5.08cm) wide. The line cutter weighs 1.8 oz (51g). The line cutter is designed with a hole in the body to provide a point to better grip the cutter, even for divers wearing gloves. Be sure to thoroughly rinse the line cutter and pouch and allow to air dry after each use.
